'He roared...' - idc how petty it is; I can't get past how many times this was said in 30% of the book. 

I thought the premise was interesting and I didn't necessarily dislike the writing; however, I just could not get behind our female main character - her constant wishy-washy feelings and actions were so grating. 

I just couldn't get into the writing style - this is more of a soft DNF as I'm not sure I'm in the mood for heavy smut at the moment. 

DNF @ 42 pages - the premise seemed interested but already so short into the book, the writing style was wonky, the FMC was beyond questionable, and already hints at incest..no thank you. 

Typically I love books about the death industry, but this one was just not clicking with me. I'm not sure if it was the pacing, narrator, or what. I do plan to try this again in the future.
