I started out excited about this premise, a futuristic Earth with a couple who are drifting in space with only 90 minutes of oxygen left. Sounds like one I wouldn't be able to put down. Unfortunately, it didn't hold my attention. I liked some of the moments between Carys and Max, but the rules of Europia didn't make sense. I completely missed the set up forewarning what the ending would be . I think I would have liked it a lot more if the world made more sense and the ending was better laid out.

multiple endings like a chose your own ending
Ginny Moon is one of my new favorite characters. This was such a great read, full of humor, heartbreak, family and Michael Jackson, and I love that it was only told from Ginny's point of view.
This was powerful. I'm certainly not hip or on fleek or whatever lingo teens use and I grew up pretty sheltered outside a small northern Michigan community, but this felt authentic in the way the teens and the projects they lived in were represented. All the characters were rich and well developed. This is not a happily ever after, tie it in a bow ending, and I appreciate it that much more. This should be required reading.
I really liked this story until the last 10% or so. I thought the ending was awful. It didn't need to end all nice and neat, but it didn't match the rest of the book so I found it jarring.
I was so excited to read this, but I just couldn't stay focused. After it sat at home for several weeks, I finally returned it to the library without finishing. I kinda wish I stuck it out until they immigrated to the US, but I didn't want to keep it any longer in case others were waiting to check it out.
