3.5 stars. Interesting topic and the author did a good job drawing parallels to world history. I thought sometimes there was too much history. I was more interested in the stories of these women and girls.
Loved Kimberly's story and reading about the struggles she and her mother faced. not a big fan of the ending, but that's my personal taste. I always want a rosy, happily ever after ending.
Ugh. I've stalled on this and lost interest about halfway through the wife's POV. I found the characters annoying and the plot twists too predictable.
