This is a haunting story that will probably stay with me for a while. I felt sorry for Mary Mallon even though she was infecting people and some of those people died. I truly feel that she didn't believe what the doctors told her about being a healthy carrier of Typhoid fever. What a horrible thing to live with.
I really liked this story that takes place during WWI. Quick, lovely read.
I liked this book, but I would have really liked it if there had been some heavy editing. There were a lot of extra details and story lines that could have been dropped to make it a better story.
