What starts off with Lexi mistaking firefighter Dyson (ugh the name is awful to me) coming to the youth center to do a fire inspection as a strip-o-gram for her birthday turns into a fake dating while both of them are on a "no dating rule" there is a lot of fun to be had.
I thought the fact that Lexi would speak her thoughts out loud and not knowing she was doing it was fun. Made for a lot of embarrassing moments with Dyson.
We all know how fake dating goes- someone is always going to go wrong. Though they always planned to "break up" after a month of this charade, the way they actually broke up was different (and a bit scary but that's all I can say)

This was a great conclusion book. Serilda and Gild are determined to find their bodies to take out the arrows that bind their spirits to Adalheid. Serilda has to put up with being married to the Erlking while her physical body grows her unborn child.
I really liked the parts of the Erlking and his quest to capture all 7 Gods for the wish of getting back his true love. It was interesting to see what his full motivations were as they were slowly revealed and I always thought there could be no more deception to his real intent, I kept getting proven wrong.
I thought the conclusion of this story was pretty satisfactory. There are a lot of surprises as well as bringing the story back to the Rumpelstiltskin tale we all know.

I had to admire the way this dual timeline story unfolded. In the present, we have murders occuring and the killer naming it "art". A bit creepy in that it started with wooden figures and then jumping to actual people.
Then I was really interested in the 1666 storyline. I've heard of the fire that destroyed London but didn't know much about the history of a St. Paul's church and an architect named Wren. Loved how Margaret, one of the Queen's ladies, was interested in science and the way she investigated things that happen after the fire.
I really liked how the two times were connected and I was very engaged in each one.

Beautiful book. I love how in between the relationship of Yasmine and Josiah and the incredible ability to co-parent their kids with class and respect to the way they can handle their business relationship..... There are so many good lessons in this book. Mental health is a big part of this book. I love how even Josiah, who first scoffs at therapy as an aid, gets so much out of his therapy sessions. Therapy really helps this interesting dynamic of a family grow.
This book made me laugh, cry, swoon and just root for these characters!

Such an amazing, riveting, couldn't look away from the almost non-stop action read!
Kash and Bailey go THROUGH IT! Grief, pain, sweetness, love etc.... The book was just so intense. I was always surprised as to where it led.
I'm so glad I got to read such a great series!

I love that this picks up right at the end of book 1. Kash and Bailey are such a powerful couple! They sizzle with their heat and awww with their sweetness to each other. Now that the world knows who they are, there are eyes on them.
Bailey is trying to navigate graduate school with this newfound worldwatch on her. There are so many characters that we get to meet they each add so much to the story.
I love the way that Kash is always right there for Bailey when he is needed. Their love is so strong and I think it helps them navigate the spotlight together.
The end of this was literally explosive and a bit sad and I can't wait to see where the end takes us!

This was a fun and very enjoyable little romcom about a best selling author Malcolm and an aspiring author Penny. Penny has been bugging Malcolm through emails and after a mistaken (and drunken) email, Penny goes to his cabin in a small town where he's holed up to apologize.
Then a snowstorm hits and she's forced to stay.
It was so cute the way they go from enemies to lovers. I love Malcolm's grumpiness and Penny's sunshine. I loved to see Malcolm melt! This was a day bingable read and my first by the author. I am so excited to explore more of her books!

Perfect witchy/spooky type read! It was spooky in the sense that once you realize a big twist, you look back at small clues dropped along the way and it makes you shiver. That is the type of spooky read I love.
The way this was written was so atmospheric that I felt I was right in the middle of the story. I felt for the town and the feeling of terror they have each summer solstice. I love that the Swan sisters are a combination of witch and siren.

Lacey has a new job as a physical therapist and is working for the (Mr. HOTness) Dr. Collin Reece. They are instantly attracted to each other but there is a strict "no coworkers dating" policy. Though the two get sent to a conference in the Caribbean and that's where they break down to explore what's there.
I loved this whirlwind romance. I also liked that this has some serious issues in it that our characters go through and know someone going through (ex. an abusive ex stalker and a former love with a deadly disease). Despite the rules, I am so glad that Collin was able to protect Lacey from her ex and man...... The ex was stupid and persistent!
I really loved the friendship of Lacey and her best friend Nic too. They sure made me laugh at their interactions
