I love how Finn helps Avery see that she's beautiful even when she's shaming her own body. Avery was with a jerk of a guy and (after not knowing for so long) a jerk of a best friend.
I'm so glad Finn is not like his dad and takes more after his Grandpa in all the ways that matter.
The heat is very spicy in this book and skirts the edge of what I don't read, but I loved every minute of this book (minus wanting to punch almost EVERY SINGLE WOMAN in the story)

Super good! I just adored both Ada and Marilyn as individuals and the relationship that they formed was super sweet.
Marilyn ends up getting sent to her Great Aunt Ada after a kissing incident at synagogue. Ada is a matchmaker and Marilyn will help her find matches for eligible young women.
The start is rocky but both these women give and get as good as each other. Marilyn comes to love Ada and vice versa while Ada also encourages Marilyn to pursue her own life of her own making as a writer and not get tied down in marriage if that's what she wants.
The ending was perfect and I was just happily smiling as it played out! I guessed two things there and I was right, but I want those reading my tenure to read it and see if they can figure it out too.
I loved this book and was so sad to have finished it but loved being in it for every moment!

I believe this was my first novel by Ms. Prowse and I enjoyed the family drama.
Everyone in this book is keeping secrets.... From affairs, to teenage drinking, to bankruptcy, to scandal, to overbearing parents and two young 18 year old men hiding their love for each other.
All the families are looking at the others and thinking their lives are perfect. It seemed like all the secrets came out one after the other at the end, but I'm glad they all divulged to move forward with love and acceptance .

This one was just as fun as the first.
This time, we have Lia from Boston who comes to open a restaurant in the Castle that Sophie inherited. She meets almost immediately Munroe and they are drawn to each other quickly.
We got a little more of Clyde, our ghost coo but we also get a Broonie, a house elf, named Brice who is so helpful and very mischievous. Lisa also needs to pass 3 unknown challenges to become a member of the Order to protect this town and the stone.

I loved this magical book set in modern day Scotland with myths and legends that have come to life!
Sophie has just lost an Uncle that has meant the world to her. To her surprise, she inherits a castle in Scotland if she stays there for a year and other stipulations. When she travels there, she meets Lachlan who isn't thrilled that she was chosen.
Sophie will help bring this town back to life and keep a secret safe and hidden - all while being dubbed a Knight and bringing back an ancient Order and rites.
Complete with a ghost coo (cow... And who I wish we saw MORE of), a cantankerous dog, Kelpies, and enemies to lovers for our MCs, and magic... This will be sure to delight and bring a smile to your face!

There's a lot of tech and coding talk that I don't pretend to understand but what really sold this book for me was Ivy and her friends and Heath and his Grandma.
Heath is this big puppy dog and he's always so understanding and fights for what he wants.
Ivy is formidable, she just doesn't quite believe in herself after a disastrous startup goes belly up.
Her ex Nick is a real piece of work and I'm so glad he got what was coming to him at the end.
I'm very interested in the series continuing forward

It's EXTREMELY hard to say much about this without ruining anything. So this will be short.
This book is so good and I had a hard time when I inevitably had to put it down when life rang. The chapters are short and at the end of EVERY SINGLE ONE it made me just want to keep reading to figure out what in the world is going on! This book, I had no idea what was going to be happening in it but I was shocked at what the whole thing turned out to be! Very creepy locked room setting on this cruise ship!
The ending 🤯 I can't even express how much I loved it..... My jaw dropped to the floor and stayed open for a long while.

This book starts with a death and then goes back to give us background. The Legacies is an exclusive club that has generations of families and they raise money. Tori is a scholarship girl, nominated to the Legacies by an unknown someone.
Honestly, there were a lot of characters to keep track of and the only ones I did keep straight were Tori (as she's not from a family that has Legacies) and Bernie (as her mom is missing and a big part of the Legacies).
There are, as there always seems to be, tons of secrets, money and other things exchanged for silence and cover ups that come from rich people who think they can do what they want. I did read this in a day though as it's very riveting and a reason I love boarding school type stories!

Kate and her daughter Olivia go vacationing at the beach. We get a split of two different timelines- one where Olivia dies in a drowning accident and one where Olivia makes it through.
The chapters with Olivia having passed especially at the beginning of that timeline are really gut-wrenching. I found myself crying multiple times.
But through both of these timelines, Kate gets to really discover herself and what she really would love to do in honor of Olivia or for Olivia. Also throughout both these timelines her best friend, Jason, is there for her. They even contemplate taking their relationship to a different level. Things always have an interesting way of working out and though I wanted certain things to maybe happen one way, I feel good about the way that they ended up being.

There were enough twists and mysteries to keep me entertained but I didn't really like any of the characters.
Jess is running away from something (do we even figure out what?? I don't even know) and running to her brother in Paris results in him not being there to welcome her. She meets all the people who live where he has been staying and they are all suspicious and not forthcoming about Ben.
Once you figure out who all these people are, you really get into what the head person has been illegally doing. Come to find out what that is, it's just very creepy. What happened to Ben is a twist I didn't see coming.
