Tempèsta has always felt lost in her family where her mother died when she was only 13 and her father threw himself more into work and her Grandmother couldn't stand the sight of her (it seemed).
Now her father has passed and she goes to live in a small village in France where her mother was born.
She buys a manor house in need of improvements and is unwelcome by many in the village, most of all the grumpy old mayor. But as she learns more about her mother and brings to life a greenhouse with healing herbs, the village slowly softens and they all start to heal.
The beauty of this novel is breathtaking! I felt I was right there in this beautiful village and healed a bit myself while Tempèsta did. I loved the eventual repair of the relationship with her brother.

Caleb and Layla are so sweet with each other. I love that they make an arrangement to help each other improve their dating lives. I love the dates that Caleb plans for them. They don't go smoothly always but the two have a real good time laughing and being with each other.
Layla is also up for a big magazine spread for her work at the bakery. When things go awry there on the big day, I love that Caleb is her first call. The way he RUNS to help her and gets everyone in the town who can to help her, that's true love there! It made me a little sad that Layla still took some time for that to sink in... That he will do anything for her!

It was so nice to read Roy's story and discover his past along with him. I enjoyed getting to see Dasia and Luke again a bit. (From Second Chances and Then Some)
Roy was adopted as a young boy. Now he's found out that grandparents, he didn't know he had, left him their beach house in Hawaii.
When he goes there to assess and sell fast, he starts to find out about his family and the mystery of it.
I loved this amazing cast of characters (don't tell but Aunt Melina is my fav). The ones who help Roy find his true ohana and become his ohana are just wonderfully fleshed out and bring so much joy into his life and made me smile.

I thought this was so cute and I read it in a day!
Savannah (a hypnotist) and Mason (a writer) are really cute. Savannah sure knows how to hold a grudge. When Mason comes to her because he's writing an article on hypnotists, the actual session becomes one of hilarity and sends them both on a journey that keeps them spiraling closer and closer to each other.
I love that her hate isn't so deep for him because the love feelings are there. You can just feel them oozing from her. But I'm glad that Mason gets her to be able to trust again.

I thought this was a really sweet, second chance. Marley and Nik went to school prom together and then Nik ghosted her . Years later, she's a fashion stylist at an upscale store and he's just getting ready to film a big superhero movie.
Marley becomes Nik's stylist while recovering from a preventative mastectomy and Nik moves into her place to help care for her.
I liked the cultures shown here and I just hate how the movie industry is.....lies, racism, and disrespectful piranhas! I really liked Marley's roommate Shayne and Nik's sister (I forgot her name though 😬)... They were my favorite characters.. Maybe even more than the MCs.

I loved the idea of a character not knowing if she committed a crime because her brain won't let her remember.
Lucy has been believed to have killed her best friend and no one believed that she doesn't remember that night.
This book mixed with podcast script and "five years ago" look backs was page turning. I felt so bad for Lucy because of the people in her life that should have protected her in a DIFFERENT way than they did. I'm truly glad they got theirs in the end. Gripping thriller that you just don't want to put down

Great graphic novel about family and what it can mean to a person and learning to find out about yourself if you aren't quite sure who you are.
Ash (with a dead name) is tired of people calling them the dead name. When Ash hears their parents might need to sell Grandpa's ranch, they decide they need to save this mysterious cabin that no one knows if it really exists and Grandpa never told a location if so.
So starts an adventure for Ash which they thought they were prepared for but it doesn't turn out that surviving on ones own is as easy as it might seem.

What a fun graphic novel! It deals with a Pillow Fight Federation (the PFF) which is like roller derby slash wrestling.
It's coming of age, it's confidence building, it's beautiful friendship and found family, it's finding where you belong, and so much more!
I really liked and felt for Grace. She was an amazing natural at this sport. She had to deal with social media hate comments and had a great best friend by her side to help her navigate everything.

I felt calling this a "later in life romance" wasn't too fair because that makes me think she's never found love before.. But the FMC was married before and had two kids. I'm not sure how I would categorize it otherwise though.
I don't read much age gap romances but usually the MMC is older... That's not a deal breaker though.
This has spice (almost right away) but a lot of the other storyline is unethical business practices by the CEO of the company Dafna works for.

Such a cute workplace romance. Hudson and Olivia are both such amazing people even if they don't see that in themselves all the time. Their first meeting is filled with hilarity and awkwardness and I'm grateful for the 2 years in between before they meet again.
I liked Olivia so much. I was sad that she felt like she was the "lesser" of her triplets. She's just doing the best she can which is what we all do. I liked that Hudson finally felt he could settle down at the Beachfront Inn and be content. I liked the nicknames they called each other. I liked the banter and the slowly pulling down walls to invest in a relationship. Can't forget the heart stopping moment near the end (there is an HEA if you are worried though)
The sibling text chain is life! They are so funny all together .
This is book 3 in this series and since I haven't yet read the first 2... This works great at a standalone though you get cameos of characters from other series.
