What starts as a funny coincidence with Justin and Emma both having a "curse" of breaking up with someone just for the person to go on and find their ONE/soulmate.... Turns to a tentative and VERY complicated relationship.

Emma is a traveling nurse, never staying in a place for longer than 3 months, all the while dealing with A LOT of trauma her mother caused her. (Amber...I just wish she would have seen eventually how much help she needed from a professional).

Justin is going to become guardian for his siblings while his mom pays in a big way for something that she decided to participate in. He is such a good guy and this new responsibility is so big and he does get frustrated, but he eventually finds what works for him to tone down the stress.

Emma's childhood trauma and how she deals with it is a big part of the story. She deals with it on her own for so long, it was so great to see her get the mental health help she so desperately needed.

I loved all the Easter Eggs Abby puts into this book. I just love when authors do that.

This has some cute moments but Emily's mom also bugged me so much!
Emily's mom basically forces her to take a chance on Mark, a man she can see as being good for her daughter. But Emily is sick of her Mom trying to set her up. So she fakes fake dating Mark to get her mom off her back but her mom also seems to have family/friend spies around that "didn't see them where they said there were" so they start going on real fake dates.

Mark seemed so nice and I don't think deserved Emily's ire at first. I love his cat named Ms. Muffins. Mark was so kind and patient with her though as they start doing the real dates and then start falling for each other. Their first real kiss had me laughing.
I was angry at how one of her sister always seemed to look down on Emily for her jobs and not being married 🙄

I didn't know what to expect from this author as it's my first read of hers and there are some more spicy moments but they are also fleeting if that makes sense.

The beautiful love story and the dual timelines made this book a winner.

Giovanna and Vincenzo fall in love as soon as they meet. They are from very different worlds, she's the daughter of a tailor and he's the son of a Count but they don't see that... Only each other. I love the Italy setting for their story. It was sad when they were torn apart by those circumstances and family obligations.

Cass and her fiancee Luca will soon discover that her grandmother and his grandfather are the couple that were torn apart many years ago. It becomes a rocky path as the truth of what happened truly comes to light but their riding is so beautiful and made me cry!

This was cute and a bit of a tearjerker near the end.

Macy and her father buy a cabin for weekends away from everything big city. There she meets Elliot who lives in the house next door full time. They are young teens when they meet and fast become best friends who love books and words and can tell each other things they don't tell anyone else.... Then something happens that makes Macy retreat for 11 years.

They run into each other and instantly become connected again. But Macy is engaged to be married and there's the thing that happened they know they need to talk about.

When the secrets came out, I was angry at the first thing and devastated at the second and utterly torn up about how each incident connects. Beautiful story of love and forgiveness.

Cute second chance romance. I love this little town of Bordeaux (bored ox).

This is Laura and Rob's story. High school sweethearts who broke up after HS (she stayed, he left but came back). They are kind of thrown together a lot as their best friends (Lexi and Trevor) are getting married. Rob is determined to win Laura back as they both know and show that they do still love each other... Even if it's rocky love to begin with again.

I didn't like that Rob's mom made her feel less because she became a beautician while he went to MIT. We all have different passions. But I also love that Rob never felt like that towards Laura.

There are some great/funny scenes in this book- Lexi and Trevor's wedding + goats....Rob filming with Diet Coke and Mentos life sized version..... ANYTIME Ella Mae came around. There are sweet ones like Rob flying a plane to take Laura on a date and the bachelor auction. I love the gossipy old ladies at the salon. Just a joyful feeling while reading this book

This book follows Mary. It picks up right up where book 1 left off. Aidan is such a jerk, I can't believe the way he tried to justify his behavior! She was good to get rid of him though it took her a bit to get over it.

Enter Steven. He just bought the movie theater and picked Mary to use her design skills to fix it up. He's a little bit strange and has 3 pet snakes but seems to be a good guy. Mary is very careful with her budding relationship with him.

I like that the girls eventually give their mother, Kelly, a chance to be in their lives again and she seems to be doing well now.

Love the sisterhood and their relationship with their grandmother who is still so fun to me, what a great character she is.

Beautiful Easter week devotional for Christians around the world. I loved learning the meaning of the she and insight into the people who wrote the hymns enclosed.
I read an early copy so didn't get to have the QR views which link to YouTube videos of the songs but it would be a wonderful book to buy and controlled to look upon and read for the Easter holy week.

I so wanted to love this more but it just felt a bit flat to me. I never really felt a connection to any of the MCs.

Finn has a lifelong nemesis in Lavender Rhodes, though she has no Idea. Lavender meanwhile is a sweetheart actress from a highly rated sitcom 10 years running. When Finn gets a job as a writer, he's determined to plot his payback through scripts. They fail mostly.

I really didn't get that Finn kept getting fired and rehired by a top dog that promised he might not make it past a few months.

I recognize that we can't love them all even if it's an author we adore and Ill keep really get books, this just wasn't a favorite.

This was my first book read by Katie (though I have several in possession) and I thought it was so cute. Just the right amount of swoon and laughs.

Holly is so fun. Even though she sets too high of expectations for her future guy, I felt. So glad she chose Jax to help her out because he is just so good at reading people. Jax is so rugged and handsome and I absolutely loved each and every time he "rescued" her from a situation where someone was just a terrible person to Holly.

I loved going on their adventure with them as they went on the hike. Loved that that's where the magic of the book happened 🤩. The last 20% of the book was my absolute favorite of all!

This book was good and I like the angst between the two characters (even if they both drove me up a wall at times) .

I liked how Kee took care of her family in the best way she could even if her dad wasn't the best at managing it. It was sweet helping her mom though. I really wish she had a better record label that didn't manipulate her and her feelings.

Dex is so powerful and he will stop at nothing where Kee and her safety and mental health is concerned. I'm in a bit of a bind because I loved him but also Billionaire romance is a tricky thing for me to like at the same time.
