This was my first TJR book and I flew through it!
It's heartbreaking and wonderful.
Emma has a tough decision ahead of her.... Stay with her fiancee Sam or go back to her once lost and thought dead but now found husband Jesse.
Jesse and Emma were perfect for each other. But can that perfection last after so many years apart?
I had no idea how this story was going to go as I felt that both Emma and Jesse or Emma and Sam could have made it in the long run. I found myself crying over this decision as she was making it.
Really good, thought provoking novel. I need to read more of hers.

Charlotte (Lettie) has dreamed of being a published author for a long time. But no publisher seems to want her fairy tale stories. So she finally has the idea to write a non-fiction called The Cinderella Fiction with lessons we can learn from Cinderella.
As her friendship with her downstairs neighbor/hot paramedic Anders starts to blossom into more, her life is about to be flipped upside down. She needs to "improve" her social media presence (demanded of her by her new publicist) to be in line with her book.
Will this help or tear apart her own fairy tale story?
I loved Lettie and Ander's relationship. They do so well as friends and even as they see each other through different eyes. Anders is such a caring person as seen in his relationship with his grandfather and as a paramedic. Lettie has a special bond with her stepsister, Kat, and does her best to help them both in relation to their mother/stepmother.
Great modern Cinderella fairy tale that isn't to be missed.

I really liked Evie and I liked her aunts, but I could not stand the sister! All she could think that was good about her fiancee was how nice and kind he was..... In bed! I'd she had been left out of the story lol, I'd have liked it more.

This was my first Sadie mystery novel by Kilpack. I kind of wish I had read the previous books before reading this. I would have had a better grasp on the ins and outs of her and her process.
That being said I still enjoyed the book. Mary is such a whip smart character and she was my favorite. When a priceless ornament goes missing from Mary's tree, she knew she could turn to Sadie to help.
I loved the recipes throughout the book. If I was more of a baker, I'd probably try and make some!
The mystery and the stories of the families were fun to hear about.

Holly Banks is not having the best first week in her new home of Primm Village. She is just trying to survive sending her only daughter to her first week of Kindergarten. Then total chaos erupts and throws Holly into a world of perfectly put together Pinterest type moms and some over the top (but sort of loveable) women... Especially PTA president Mary Margaret St. James.

I laughed out loud so many times in the book! I think most will love this. Holly is sure to worm her way into your heart!

What would happen if you could be anybody?
Gabby invents a technology that can transfer one person's consciousness into another. (Though it's started as a way to try and cure Alzheimer's)
This book alternates chapters between Gabby and what happens after she brings "the flash" into existence and Annami, who rents out her body to be used for whatever (usually dark in nature) purposes.
But Annami is on a mission.... To tell the world the flash isn't all it seems to be.
I have to admit....I didn't think I'd end up liking it as I did and almost DNF'd it several times. I'm glad I stuck through because the last third of it had my head spinning with how crazy it was..... But in a good way.

Laurie gets on a bus, sees a man through the window with a book waiting for another bus. Then he looks up and they lock eyes. Is it love at first sight? Laurie believes so but the bus pulls away before either can make a decision of what to do.
A year goes by of searching every face for this man and just when she's given up hope she finds him again... Introduced as Jack, her best friend -Sarah's boyfriend.
What follows is 10 years of Laurie getting to know Jack, becoming friends and one mistaken, drunken kiss. There is a lot of heartache on both Laurie and Jack as they fall in love without being able to do anything about it.... They don't want to hurt Sarah.
I loved all these characters. I felt for them, I laughed and cried with them. It pulls you through so many emotions.

This thriller way very readable and fast. I found myself more caring for the story part with Hank. Rain was ok but a bit of a lackluster character. Greg, Rain's husband, seemed really weird and kind of whiny.
Rain and Hank had something horrible happen as kids and I was thrown for a bit of a loop as to who the killer was..... And also who knew about the kills.
Overall it was ok but I had hoped for a bit more.

So going into this book, I had an idea of what I thought was going to go on....I was so wrong! It was a very different story than what I pictured in my head from the synopsis. (Want to know what I thought this book was about? Just ask)
This book was fast paced and very enjoyable. I enjoyed most of the characters and constantly wondered at their motivations for certain actions they took.
One element of the book was such a surprise to me and once I realized what it was...*boom* it made sense and I loved it!

Cassidy and Liam- best friends for 11 years. Cassidy lost her parents and Liam's took her in. Cassidy is about to marry Garrett until she catches him cheating on her... IN THE CHURCH ON THE DAY!
Liam has always been there for Cass and he's there to pick up the pieces... As the best friend. But what if he wants something more? Will Cassidy realize her true feelings towards him?
I'm amazed at Cassidy's resilience. She's had terrible things happen to her but she finds a way to move on. It's hard to move on but she does it with strength and Liam by her side.
I loved these two. Very good friends to lovers story and the end chapters had me crying happy tears. Liam is so sweet and a really good man.
