I had certainly heard of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, but didn't know much about him. This story has the unusual courtship between Henry and Fanny where it was very one sided on his part.... At least in terms of love. They had a great intellectual friendship even as he always wanted more.

Everything I wanted and more. There were things I already knew and a lot that I didn't. If you are a for hard Friends fan, you need to read this book!

Awesome thriller that proves you shouldn't judge someone you don't know just by watching them! I read it in two days and this is my first Lisa Jewell book but won't be my last!

Cute story that takes place around Christmas time.
We have characters that need Haven Point for a fresh start-a place that they can be known for their own actions and not have their past life define them. I loved Dani and the fierceness with which she protects her girls. Ruben was a sweetheart and I loved the chemistry between the two.

Marlow gets a new heart..... Now she gets to decide what kind of life she will lead and who she'll be.
Marlow is funny and witty even though she's shy and introverted. Zan was a great girl to become a friend of Marlow's. They both had snarkiness!
I loved Marlow's extreme mother and cute little brother. Leo and Marlow's relationship was so fun.
I loved the writing, I was drawn in from the first page!

3 1/2 stars
I wanted to love it more than I did. I had some guesses that turned out to be right but it fell a little flat for me once one of them was revealed. I found most of the characters to be just ok..... Didn't really like any of them a whole lot.... Except small child Edwin.

A beautiful Regency novel with heart! Abby has been dealt a hard hand. Jasper marries her to keep her from a ruined reputation (being forced upon and falling pregnant). Jasper dies and Abby continues to stay in the house of her in laws. Her mother in law is not so warm to Abby at first, but warms up and starts to like her. Morgan falls slowly in love with Abby, but knows in the eyes of the law- that he can't be with her. It all ends up beautifully!

A crazy, manipulative therapist conducting a study where a girl comes that isn't supposed to be there.... What follows is a twisty, turny ride where, once you find out a little of what is driving the therapist to be doing what she's doing, you are still in for surprises!
I finished this book in two days, I didn't want to put it down!

An emotional story all about the love of a mother. There are 4 mothers that we follow the journey of. Mistakes are made and have the mothers wondering where they went wrong. Get ready for the tissues at the end!

This was a great story to read. I grew up watching The Wizard of Oz but I had never heard of anything that happened in this story, history wise. It was nice to get the background of Frank, the writer of the book. Maud, was a tenacious woman! I loved her commitment and dedication to hey husband. She was a force to be reckoned with trying to get as much of the spirit of the book into the movie. I love her want and desire to proctect young Judy when she saw how awful everyone treated her on the set.
