I got a laugh out of that beginning! What a way to jump start (unknowingly) a marriage. I thought that Catherine, despite the last 8 years of living with an abusive Uncle, was strong. I love where Crispin's thoughts go so quickly to wanting to protect and keep Catherine. I loved when they teased and joked with each other.
Read this in a day, I absolutely love Phillip! This story had a tiny bit of a mystery that I enjoyed too. Sorrel is quick witted and funny. She and Phillip as "enemies at war" was very enjoyable.
Who WOULDN'T take an all expense paid trip to Paris? Even if it was to see your ex get married. That's precisely what Rachel does to see if she can "get over" (as if she hasn't had 10 years to get over him) Matt, who turns out to be such a scumbag! But it finally opens her eyes to her true passion and finally lets her pursue it.
Amazing book! I love Marion. She's funny, kind, and sweet. I love that Caroline immediately felt a song connection with her. Caroline was a precious little girl! I'm glad she was able to pull Layton out of his dark place he's lived in his head for the past 5 years.
Another great book! I am loving this Jonquil family. Corbin is sweet and shy. I love how attached he became to Edmund and never acted awkward around him. Alice was a little cutie and quickly worked her way into Corbin's heart. Clara has a horrible past and Corbin became really protective of her after he found out. I think he's probably my second favorite Jonquil so far.
I was laughing out loud at the (brief) appearance of Adam, the Duke of Kielder. He is just the best!

I love this family! May have said it before but will say it again....I love this family! Stanley had been through and seen some things being a soldier. I loved him with Marjie though. I love that she always loved him ever since she met him and stayed by his side even when it was hard and tearing her apart.
Christopher is a pretty arrogant guy at first and does not know how to properly court a lady. I've loved Harriett from the other books and glad to see her own story come about. The two made me laugh when they were together.
Sad but beautiful story about a mother who loses her daughter to the hands of a woman that just wanted to be a mother that she didn't really get a chance to be. I'm not sure what the Russian mob really had to do with this other than a trafficking ring that Maddy stumbles onto while trying to figure out what happened to her daughter.
I loved getting to know Lucy through this book, whom I first had met in Lies and Letters. I was happy to see a short appearance by Charlotte and James. Lucy and Nicholas were adorable! I loved that they had feelings for each other since childhood. It took a long time for this feelings to come to light to them both, but I loved the journey. Thrown in is an intriguing mystery with Nicholas and his family. I understand why Nicholas felt he had to resort to the things he did. I love how it got resolved. I was very upset with the people of Rosewood and how they acted. I'm glad Kitty came around in the end.
