I liked this book a lot. Sure, all the lies and deceit were screwed up, but I liked Bree. She was funny and she cared a lot about Jo. I hated her through some of the book though. I really liked Nixon, what a genuine guy he was.
I hated the time that Bree got back with Sean....she was very stupid concerning him.
All in all, a good read. Read it in about a day.

I liked all the characters. They were all quirky and funny. I think I loved her mom the most of all. Add in a little mystery? You get a great read.

I love when I can figure out (which I don't often unfortunately) who did it way before book end. Creepy killer! Great read

I loved this book! Finished it in 24 hours. I really admired Cora for her honesty and tenacity. I loved that Jonathan gave her a chance at being housekeeper when she clearly needed teaching. I loved Jonathan's servants. Great story!
I need to read book #1 now and then can't wait for the release of #3!

I have never read any of the Sherlock books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but I have seen BBC's Sherlock. So I knew the story going in, but I liked that Sherlock in here was a fictionalization of Charlotte's to solve cases. It was a fun read.

It wasn't the greatest book and not to my tastes either. Is Alex a boy or girl? You never find out and that bugged me.

I adored this book! Lucy was kind of a little spitfire. I quite enjoyed the aspect of her telling the Earl Drayson (after his injury) he was her servant , Collins. I liked that he regained his memory near the middle of the book and still acted as a servant. But didn't totally despise her because of it.

I received a copy of this ARC from Netgalley for my honest review. This was a sweet book about second chances and what we chose to do with them if given. I really liked Shay. She was a strong woman who did something wrong to help a loved one. But she got a second chance to turn her life around and I loved the story of how she gets there. Drew was a great guy and pastor of his church and the romance that slowly builds between these two is wonderful. Clean read that makes you feel good.

This book had me hooked from the first page! It was a hard subject to read about, but you can't help but feel bad for the main character. She didn't really know any different, being mostly raised in her most formative years by monsters.
