I expected more from the romance, but it took forever to get there. Wish there had been more of it. But not a bad read

I wanted to like it more. There were some very big questions in this time travel novel that were never answered well and ended up not making sense....such as , Julia time traveled first but was not gone as long as Max in real time, who time traveled last. It seemed all over the place in what it wanted to be.

This was another great story by Ms. Ward! Cute story about a group of friends going from high school into their college lives. I loved the friendship of Sidney and James. I could see right away that James wanted more. I loved the back and forth in time in the story line.

Crazy book! I was immediately suspicious of Marley and Aaron. I never placed blame with Cass. I can't believe what once happened to the son, Pete........ How cruel (even more so) doing that to a child!

So cool of her to write a book based on an ancestor! I loved that the book was more about the person and not just on her "witchcraft" trial, although I liked having the pieces of the trial throughout the book.

I have very mixed feelings about the ending of this book. I both hated some and loved some of it. The "bad guy" when it comes to light, I didn't expect. A lot of the book felt slow to me. All in all, it was an OK book.

I loved this book and look forward to all the other books in The Power of the Matchmaker series. I look forward to learning more of Pearl, the mysterious matchmaker! From a pretty sad beginning to a very happy ending, this book had it all. A handsome and wonderful leading man.

All the reviews are raving about this book..... I just don't get it. I was bored out of my mind through the whole thing. I didn't care for the characters at all.

What an original, clever story this was! I really enjoyed it and the end was perfect.
