I loved Quinn! She didn't let the break up get her down (too much). I know what it's like to be in that position (not as a missionary) but to have the guy you are dating start dating someone else (a girl from my own ward growing up) without telling you. (gotta say Quinn handled it better than I did! But all is forgiven and I'm still friends with them both)
The writing just drew me in and I finished this book in about a day. Some hard parts to read because they are so sad and complicated, but are things that help bring Quinn and Nick closer to each other.

It was hard to get into the book for about 100 pages and then I just loved the story. I did think Isabel was a little snot for most of it and I don't think I ever forgave her in the end for how she treated Tom for most of the book.

Found it kind of boring and the ending didn't satisfy me at all.

This was a beautiful and heartbreaking book! I was crying at the end. I think this was different than any WW2 book I have ever read and probably my favorite.

It was an interesting read. I didn't like it as much as The Selection series though
