I believe every person should read this!

My son loves this book!

My son really likes this series! I highly recommend for elementary age kids.

Excellent read! I have to find the sequel immediately!

The writing was good. She gave us a relationship with each characters. The layout and build up was decent. I liked Sophie, I could relate to her. I was left disappointed more than anything.

***Spoilers at this point***
I didn't believe Sophie needed to go to Zach that many times. I don't believe that would have happened. With how self independent she is and determined and apparently Chelsea was her only friend??? I had a hard time believing all of this. She's a work alcoholic and loves her job. Cool. But I felt her actions didn't match her character.

I felt Zach's character wasn't completely thought out. I mean his mood swings and his self loathing is believable. But I felt something was off. It's almost as if it he wasn't completed. The dogs are a nice touch but the instant relationship between him and this random 16 year old is hard to believe. I don't buy it. Teenagers don't just drop from the sky to help teach you about love and happiness.

Brock was thrown in only to appeal to Zach. I honestly felt it was pointless to have him in the story. If you remove him from the story, there isn't a void in the story.

Plus, were left without a completion. Only a confirmation that Sophie and Zach are FINALLY together.

This story isn't terrible but I'm not impressed with it. I felt more disappointed then anything. My rating is technically 2.5 stars but I can't give it a half star, so... Yeah.

Beauty and the beast is my favorite Disney movie. I wasn't a fan of the movie, Beastly, I felt it lacked substance. Almost as if it could accomplish a goal but just didn't make it to the finish line. The book of course is much better. I connected with the characters and truly loved the depth of growth the Kyle/Adrian character was able to grow. I could see both the cartoon and movie through the book. Overall I rate this a 3.5, mainly it's geared towards teenagers.
It's cute. It's nothing Epic but it's a modern fairy tale. Its worth at least one read through.
