This was cool but just didn’t shake me and grab me like i wanted it to. Super sexy, pretty unsettling at some parts, kind of loved/hated the whole Law and Order part. Did not enjoy the last two stories very much. But also was partially because i related to the characters a little too closely and felt like i was going crazy right along with them.

I really loved this book for the most part, i only took some points off because i felt some of the stories were unnecessarily complicated, however they all made sense in the end (except for the mirror one?) and the last story made my skin crawwwwwl oh my god. And they were also visually so beautiful the imagery was great.

Lovely naturalist book about the undergound system, burial, archeology, deep time, etc. I loved the mixture of scientific information and mythology/ folklore. Definitely written in a prose style instead of environmentalist jargon which i loved.
