What a peculiar little novella. I’d like to say this would have been better as a full length novel because there’s some really creepy imagery in here… but at the same time it’s a bit over-descriptive which takes you out of the moment and makes it much harder to get into the story—you always feel like a distant observer.
But it’s a short read, so I recommend you judge for yourself!
