A fun, simple book that serves as a great introduction to, well, the lives of stars. I find space and the universe to be so fascinating, but it's still such an undeveloped, child-like fascination that I don't need to ready heavy-duty books on the subject. (Not yet, anyway).
This book is a quick read that introduces you to the major concepts, terminology, and facts.

Desperate for a book to read, I picked this up for 5$ at Walmart. They had a selection of 5$ books, some of which I'd already read, and the rest sounded terrible. This one sounded the least terrible of the ones I could find.
Turns out, it was a pretty entertaining book. Literary masterpiece? No. But it was an interesting storyline, with a few interesting twists, and even laugh-out-loud funny in a spot or two - the character Ann cracked me up.
All in all, a fun, quick, entertaining summer read.

There are many reviews that accurately reflect this book. I'm not one for proper or in-depth reviews, so I won't start now. This book is entertaining enough, if a bit slow, and juvenile. I'll admit to being somewhat of a Twilight fan (I enjoyed the books, but I don't obsess), so I can say this would appeal to those folks. Especially the extra-obsessed ones. And ESPECIALLY the "Team Jacob"/werewolf-loving superfans.
