Fantastic book. Everyone should read this. I'm already vegan so I'm familiar with carnism, but I feel this book could really help non-vegans to think about their choices (if you can even call them choices).
I like that this book is written with a very neutral tone - stating facts rather than opinions or emotions. That fact alone makes it worth a read by everyone!

Better than the 2nd installment of this series by leaps and bounds! I actually enjoyed reading this one.
Wow. This book was pretty painful. It had been awhile since I read the first installment of this series, but I remember enjoying that book somewhat. This one, though... terribly slow. It really dragged on, and seemed to go in endless circles. When things finally did start happening, they wrapped up in the span of a couple of pages.
Undecided if I'll read the rest of this series now, or not...

I think I enjoyed this book the best of all in the series. There was an actual plot, an actual MYSTERY, and everything kind of came together int he end, finally. That said, I don't think I'll miss this series a whole lot. Books #2 and #3 (especially #2) were fairly dull - throughout this series, Charlaine really seemed to be grasping for content.
