I found the poem hard to follow.

Too difficult to read, this was probably just meant to be a coffee table book. The pages are very cool to look at though.

I’m not that interested in reading a story from the perspective of a racist, horny teenage boy. I marked the spots in the book that I personally found to be red flags in the first 76 pages and there were like 6 of them.

Didn’t like the portrayal of a mentally handicapped kid and how the other kids treated him.

The font is so tiny! I’m just going to checkout the books one by one from the library.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Connors videos. But this book just felt like it was written for someone younger than me. I was just not connecting with it at all. The poetry was very tumblr and instapoet and I didn’t connect with it. It felt like I was stuck in a conversation with someone who was really passionate about something that I just didn’t care about but you have to stand there and smile and wait for them to stop.
