Not a huge fan, although I do really like how she decides to end the book for the reader. No spoilers, but she will warp your perspective. Slow, slow start. I didn't get into it until half way through. Not a fan of the writing style.

This is some damn good writing. Not only was it engrossing to read because of the beautiful language, but the topic is important. You will be forced to confront some racial bias you may hold, but to know that it is there is the first step in acting on changing it. Just ask any character in this book.
