finally admitting i’m not a crime reader

accessibly devastating

i think i’ve landed at a place of realisation that i appreciated what this was doing a lot more than what it did. it had all the hallmarks of what i love in its hard to box, sprawling structure but kept me too far at arms length, falling into habits that made it tenuous to read. excited to see where this author goes but have accepted this is not where i truly wanted it to be at yet
