This book is a fun, easy read. If you're a fan of Queer Eye and of Tan France, you'll love this book. You can hear Tan's distinct voice and humor in your head as you read. The illustrations that accompany each chapter are delightful. I wish there was more substance to the book, however. I may come back to this book, once its finished as the copy I read was not complete.

This book dragged on and on. It was frustrating and boring and confusing. I don’t understand the hype around it.

3.5 for fantastic quotes. The sudden addition of a fantasy element threw me off.

I feel like I cried the entire time I was reading this. This book gives insight on the medical side of addiction as well as a very personal account.

3.5 I found it difficult to follow the timeline of this book, but still funny and worth reading.

What a strange little novella. Felt a bit preachy, but was fun.

Four stars because I was desperate to who know the miniaturist was. The end felt abrupt- there was more to the story.
