This book is cute, funny, spicy & christmassy - what more could you want in a book?!
Bee and Nolan are the lead actors in a Christmas movie, they both desperately need this to work out well for them. They're both hiding secrets that could blow up majorly if they get discovered. The rules for both of them are clear - don't date anyone on set, so what happened when there is instant chemistry between the two of them?
Starting off my review by saying the dirty talk in this book is impeccable🥵
I found it really refreshing that Nolan was very honest about his feelings and didn't spend forever pretending that they didn't exist
I'm very jealous of Bee being able to live out most teens fantasy's of dating her celeb crush
Also really liked that both main characters are bi, I've been wanting to read more books with bi rep so it was a lovely surprise to discover whilst reading

Honestly just got really bored of how jealous the FMC was over her boyf and his ex gf
I enjoyed this book, I liked both the main characters and their relationship, however I did spend half the book confused over what's happening - think it's just as it's a different genre than what I'm used to with lots of magic and world building which I tend not to read
funny
lighthearted
fast-paced

The 'meet cute' in this book is impeccable!! I really enjoyed the instant chemistry/attraction to each other and there was none of the "will they/won't they" which isn't a fave of mine
I loved that all the characters wanted to be better people for each other 🥰🥰🥰 - I'm kinda a sucker for that trope
The dirty talk and spice in this book is just 🥵🥵🥵
I couldn't put this book down, especially when it got to the final chapter the little twists and turns kept me gripped until the very end and then I was sad when it was over and couldn't stop thinking about them

Really enjoyed How We End, it follows the journey of Jake, Liv and their new found friends as they try and escape London to avoid a deadly virus which is turning people into zombies
- post apocalyptic
- trans mmc & other LGBT+ characters
- found family
- short chapters
This book had the perfect mixture of action/adventure and calmness where you got to learn more about all the different characters and really get to enjoy those moments without having to constantly worry about what dangers are lurking outside
That said towards the end it did end up lulling me into a false sense of security and I won't spoil it but my reaction was 'what the actual fuck????!!!!!'
This book wrapped up nicely (aka no big cliff hanger) but still left lots of questions which I can't wait to be answered in the second book

From the outset the blurb really intrigued me, I had so many questions wondering what way this could play out (normally I don't get this and just go with the flow), and have to say that I wasn't disappointed at all. This is a cute, easy read about two girls falling in love in a bit of a weird circumstance
I really enjoyed all the "dates" that Zoe and Paige went on when Jake bailed due to work (he was a bit of a d!ck but it all worked out for the best)
One of my worries going in is that there could be some cheating, happy to report that that wasn't the case and all the characters are very against it
Overall really enjoyed this book and it was a good read

- Why choose
- sports romance - hockey
- friends to lovers
- she's a writer, they're all pro hockey players
- poc and LGBT rep
I love a good why choose romance and a good sports romance so this was such a good book combining the two together
I loved how easily all the characters worked together both as part of the whole relationship and as the smaller separate relationships within it
