I LOVE Elsie's writing and love how complex her characters are.

This was such a fun read, I loved that we got the flashbacks to their past at the start of each chapter and really got to know the history between them. I loved how strong Violet is and how she didnt take shit from anyone especially Cole, knowing exactly what he needed to get better and be the man he wanted to be for her

I felt kinda weird picking this series up in the middle, all books can be read as a standalone but idk I felt like I was missing some of the background on some of the characters (Billie) and wish I had started from the start - I'm definitely going to be picking up the rest of the series

- duel pov
- sports romance - horse jockey
- disability rep - amputee

I had no clue what to really expect coming into this book, and I wasnt sure if it was just going to be drama/a break up for the sake of a plot line but I’m glad that it wasnt

I enjoyed the storyline and the growth that we went on with Gemma and also Ian, I didnt expect to enjoy his character so much especially after the previous book.

I did miss the camaraderie between Gemma and the fertility support group from the previous book and wish we got to see that more

- second chance

Some parts of this were very sweet and I loved, other parts kinda just missed the mark for me - overall I did enjoy it tho

I love Emily's writing and wish that I could just live in it forever. There's something kinda comforting but also raw in her writing and I really enjoy it

I really enjoyed this story and how it was a then vs now narrative, which is always a favourite of mine.

"how many universes do you think we're together in?"
"higher than either of us can count"

- second chance / 'its always been you' vibes
- forced proximity
- now vs then timeline
- fake dating

Did I enjoy this for the most part - yes. Will I really be recommending it - probably not

I honestly just stuck with it cos I was intrigued as to how/when she'd get with the third guy

Spoiler (on confusing plot line)
one thing I don't get is that she was being stalked by her ex so when she decides what to do with her life she becomes a youtuber, like that was the opposite of the whole 'laying low' thing that was at the start, idk it just didn't make sense to me

Will say that this is like 75% smut and 15% plot

I enjoyed the female narrator however the male narrator's were not my cup of tea - the narration was okay but when a character was speaking i didn't like it

Enjoyable storyline - I liked the fake dating part, just wished there was a bit more of it, and also I liked that Dylan was able to help Theo reconnect with his heritage through food

There were times that I forgot that they were 17, especially with Theo - due to his independence

Read this after watching the TV show and did enjoy it, obviously there are some differences between the tv show and the book as there always are but the main difference is that it is all young Queen Charlotte and doesnt have any of the scene of her when she older (minus the very end)

I really enjoyed the narration of it as well

- 3rd person / multi pov
- regency era
- arranged marriage

DID NOT FINISH: 23%

Just wasnt vibing with it and didnt reach for it when I wanted to read

The timeline is very confusing like I have zero clue when this is set / would move between present and past a lot and just wasnt working for me

This was really cute and was a good quick read

(reading this series out of order but) I think that Below Zero is my favourite so far just as there was a bit more substance to it in terms of the adventure and also the timeline, however this one was still a good read

- second chance
- one night stand

This was a fun listen, I pretty much went into it blind and didn’t expect it to be that hot.

Enjoyable quick(ish) listen - really liked both the narrators as well
