I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. Going in I wasn't sure how the love triangle element would play out but I ended up enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the friendships that were built prior to any relationship happening.
All 3 main characters are all kind of running away from their pasts and trying to start afresh on the ship - which does lead to some miscommunication / lack of communication and some misunderstandings. Which was a little frustrating at times but I'm glad with where all the characters ended up and that everything got talked through and they weren't hiding anything at the end.
Overall, I thought this was a really fun book and especially loved the character development for the FMC
- forced proximity
- love triangle
- spicy
- multi pov

From the get go I thought this book was good but it wasn't until we got to meet the dragons that I understood why everyone was obsessed. From that point on I couldn't put this book down
As a romance girl I LOVE the romance in this and that Xaden is obsessed with Violet from the first second he sees her, like he trys to act like he's not but he's got it so bad for her I'm obsessed. Like (minor spoilers) him training her, making daggers and a saddle for her dragon, having someone protect her like how did it take her so long to realise that it wasn't one sided???
I really enjoyed the magic, dragons and also the friendship in this book, the banter between the squad was so fun. Also thought the world building at the very start was done really well.
I will need at least 3 to 5 business days to recover from [redacted redacted redacted redacted redacted and redacted] and also need another 3 to 5 business days to process that cliffhanger - I need the rest of the series now
I read this as an audio which was so good, I really enjoyed the performance, there were times I was confused as to what was being said out loud and what was being communicated via a bond at times tho
- romantic fantasy
- enemies to lovers
- slow burn
- ends on a cliffhanger (sequel out in November)

I really enjoy Corine's writing style and her small town romances are so good to get lost in. I thought the way she incorporated ASL into the story and had the clear distinction between spoke and signed was easy to follow and keep up with
I really liked the main characters and how the kinda clicked straight away, I think them knowing each other a little prior to the start of the book helped. I liked that they kept their relationship hidden to start with and that it brought some really cute and also some steamy moments from the MCs
The plot twist had me screaming, I didn't see it coming but I really liked it and how it helped the MCs tell everyone about their relationship.
As much as I did enjoy the story I felt slightly let down by the ending and was left wanting a bit more from it.
- single dad
- she's the nanny for his daughter and her dads his boss
- secret relationship
- small town
- duel pov
- no 3rd act break up

Overall I liked this book, sometimes I found the main character a little annoying. Also felt like some scenes were rushed and I wanted more of it, and other times there was a tonne of description/detail about things I wasn't too interested in/didn't add to the overall plot
I really liked the parts where Max and Chasten were alone together, their relationship was really fun and cute
There's images of texts/playlists/lists of things related to the story at the end of each chapter and I thought it was a really nice touch and fun
- LGBT
- slow burn
- romcom

This was so good!! I didn't want to put it down at all!!
Honestly I picked up this book because I knew I liked both of the narrators of it, essentially going in blind and it was so unexpectedly good - I was laughing from the get go
I need a physical version now so I can just highlight and annotate all my favourite parts (basically every single line - especially from Daniel)
Daniel Grant is out here setting the standard for book boyfriends
I loved the wild nature of Wakan and the weird weather events - it made the whole place seem so magical
- small town
- age gap
- one night stand turned so much more

I loved this book!! I always enjoy a book with a now vs then plot so knew straight away it was going to be good, I love the different pieces coming together and I was shocked at the reason why Percy didnt speak to Sam anymore - I dont know what I was expecting but it wasnt that!!
I really liked that we got to see their whole relationship from when they were 13 to 18 and really got to be there for all of the key parts of it.
- childhood best friends to lovers
- second chance
- now vs then timeline
- small town setting

I couldn't put this book down!! It was such a good read
For someone who didn't think he could be loved or people would stick around for him Zanders is so thoughtful, kind and caring - honestly one of the best book boyfriends
I loved Stevie's journey and how she grew into her own skin, especially in the last 30% or so and how she stuck up for herself and those who she loves
The Kindle edition is 600+ pages and honestly every single page is worth it, I was worried that there might be a weird sub plotline or something just as it was soo long however that wasn't the case and I really enjoyed all of it.
This was my first book by the author, I really enjoyed their writing style and can't wait to read more from them
- sports romance (hockey)
- secret relationship
