I loved this book. I love the, at times very emotional, journey that we go on with Noelle with rediscovering her passion, figuring out what she wants to do with her life and the grief of losing her Gram.
I really enjoyed Gram and Theo's Grandad's story and like that it was woven throughout and we didn't get it all at once. And also how Noelle and Theo echoed the games that Noelle and her Gram used to play together.
- high school rivals
- forced proximity
- road trip
- first person / singular pov
Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin for an ARC of this book

Moderate: Grief
Minor: Sexual content
3rd person really isn't my fave an I was struggling with it
Also kinda annoyed over both MCs claiming that they hate the other but think about them constantly (like I know there's a thin line between love and hate but it just irritated me and I cba to go through most of the book pretending they hated the other)
Might come back to this at some point and do it via audio instead

This was so fun, i went in completely blind and was kinda surprised with what it was about but thought it was so fun, i really enjoyed the narration and the overall storyline (i just wish we got more once they finally got together like i know there were some answers in the epilogue but also i want more just cos i enjoyed it so much and i was sad its over)
- forced proximity
- opposites attract
- 3rd person / duel pov

This book isnt something I would naturally gravitate towards but the blurb sounded interesting so I thought Id give it a go and so glad I did
It took me a long while to get fully into it, I enjoy books with multi-pov and duel timeline, and did think by the end it really did work for this book. However, at the start to middle I found it really jarring and wasnt enjoying it as much. Id get sucked into one persons story and then suddenly dumped into another and I just struggled to find the rhythm of the book and really get into it
The last third of the book I flew though, I love seeing the different pieces fitting together and how the two timelines/povs came together, I also really enjoyed the element of magic

I really enjoyed this! Such a fun listen, I really enjoyed the plot and the narration. I like that there was a mix of duet narration for the phone calls and then duel narration for the povs - made the story a lot kore engaging
Also the little sound effects were so good, Ive listened to audiobooks before with them and found them kinda distracting in the past but thought they worked really well here
The only thing that did annoy me is the lack of communication at times and that the FMC didn't want to hear what the MMC had to say and was avoiding the topic - it got frustrating however I did really enjoy the reveal and the cute last couple of chapters

I thoroughly enjoyed this! I was in the mood for a short but really good romance and this hit the spot
I really enjoyed the letters and the mystery behind it (although it's a romance so it's kinda obvious straight away I still enjoy that aspect and seeing the FMCs reaction to it as it's revealed and also her emotions of the letter writer vs the coworker who she hates)
I liked the development of their relationship from the letters and then knowing each other in person and hanging out all the time before it was all revealed
Also a very cute reveal really did enjoy it

I liked this book, I really enjoy Sara's writing and the sex tapes, especially the first two were very hot
However I didn't really click with the main characters or felt like I really understood or knew much about them other than their preferences in the bedroom and why they wanted revenge on the dad and the ex. There was some character development with Adam and his relationship with his faith but overall with the whole story I thought there wasn't a tonne of character development to really understand them - which was a disappointment for me
- short chapters
- age gap
- opposites attract
- fake dating
Thank you to Sara and her team for an arc

I LOVED this book when I was younger, I reread it all the time, so when I saw that Netflix is making a film inspired by it I had to reread. I love that the whole book is set over 24 hours but you still get to see a lot of Hadley's life and still get to know her really well
Based on the Netflix trailer, it's not going to be 100% accurate to the book (also the book was written 10 years ago so I assume they'll be some differences in terms of technology etc) - however I'm still really excited to watch it
I really like Jennifer's writing style - I want to look into her adult releases for sure
- YA
- forced proximity
- set over 24 hours
