I love Kandi's writing and have wanted to work my way through her backlist for ages and I'm so excited to read this series and see where the story goes

I enjoyed this book, however you get introduced to so many characters and so many different storylines within the book that it took me an episode of two to work out who's who and the connections there

A lot of the characters have huge secrets that they're keeping, it really kept me engaged cos I was just waiting for shit to hit the fan and although it hasn't yet I'm diving straight into book 2 and hoping that there's a bit more drama. This isn't to say there isn't personal drama with families/life outside PSU but I'm kinda just wanting drama / more action in the friend group. Also not all these secrets would necessarily cause shit to hit the fan but I'd love for them just to be out there and for people not to be scared

- multi pov
- college Greek life - following multiple people from the same sorority and a couple of people from different fraternities

I’m not sure what Abby puts in her books but I’m always obsessed from the very start. I love that I’m laughing from the first chapter.

The miscommunication slash lack of communication trope normally is not my cup of tea, it features pretty prominently here, however I loved it. The angst and the build up to ‘omg somethings finally happening’ was so good. I didn’t want to put this book down and wanted to keep reading until they finally knew that each other was on the same page.

I love that we got to go back to Wakan and that the town played its magic to force Briana and Jacob together

I didn’t vibe with the third act conflict purely because I was loving that they were together and happy and didn't want any more pain, however, the resolution I was screaming at !!!!! I wanted it to happen and it did and it was so good!!!!

- co-workers who get off on the wrong foot so one apologise by writing letters to the other and now pass letters back and forth which is the favourite part of their day
- ‘I lied to my family that I have a girlfriend and now my sister just saw us having lunch together in a storage closet so now we have to fake date’
- mutual pining and thinking the other doesn't love them when they clearly do
- some small town magic leading to ‘theres only one twin sized bed’
- ‘oh shit i told your family that were living together so i actually need to move in now’
- ‘i have anxiety and am introverted but you make the world go quiet’ x ‘i have traumatic trust issues with men but you make me forget all about them’

Theres lots of different topics tackled in this book and i really like how Abby wrote about them and dealt with them in a way which was very real

I really liked the world and how magic was kind of intertwined in it

I liked the idea of the romance more than the execution of it, I didn't really feel the connection between them

When I was reading this book I was enjoying it, however I could've put it down at any point and never continued and also struggled to want to pick it up  I see so many people raving about this book ATM but it was just a bit meh for me really

I normally don't vibe with 3rd person but did really enjoy this writing style

Does end on a bit of a cliffhanger, and I'm kinda intrigued for the next book but not sure I'm rushing to read it

- world with some magic
- rivals to lovers
- secret identity
- 3rd person

I liked this book - thought it was a fun feel good read

I liked the journey we went on with Noah and how it turned into more then him just wanting to prove to his new school that he was a boy. I really like that we got to see all the insecurities about his old friends, his family and his new friends  not accepting him / thinking he’s a boy

I really liked how very naturally Noah and some of the other characters came out and how it was very supportive but wasn't this how song and dance and made a whole deal out of it

Daddy Cade, Willa and Luke are my fave fictional family - I love them so much

I mainly listened to this on my daily walk and let's just say it really puts the hot in hot girl walk

The love confession in this is perfection and so good, I love a man and woman who are so sure of their self - also shout out to Willa for taking the space she needed to process everything in a healthy way

- forced proximity
- single dad x nanny
- small town
- cowboy
- accidental pregnancy

I liked this book - a very fun and quick read. I really liked seeing their relationship develop both as Mr Wrong Number and Misdial and Colin and Olivia

I'm a sucker for a guy who falls harder and this was deffo the case with Colin - I loved it

I did want a bit more from the ending, it felt very rushed and almost sudden in the way they got back together after the 3rd act break up

- brothers best friend
- forced proximity (roommates)
- secret identity

I really liked this book - I love a duel timeline, the mix of Scarlett and Jameson's story and current day of Noah and Georgia, I like seeing the different pieces of the puzzle coming together.

I don't think I've cried at as many different points through a book than this, like I knew some of it was coming but still didn't make it any less painful

The plot twist!!! I didn't see it coming - so good I was shocked - I'm so glad that everyone mostly got their HEA

- duel timeline (present 1st person, past 3rd person)
- duel pov

I really like Rebecca's writing and want to read more but also the two books I've read from her, this and Fourth Wing, have made me cry so much I'm not sure I want to
