My fave book from Elena so far!!
Im not a huge slow burn girly, like i get so frustrated when nothing is happening between the MCs and this one is a super slow burn, so i was hesitant coming into it. However i loved it!!! Yes it might've taken a very long time for the MCs to kiss or do anything but the banter between them and the way that he was obsessed with her was so good!!
Thank you to Elena and Fable for an arc

This book deserves all the stars!! The middle is so freaking cute I'm unwell
It took me a little to get into it but I'm so glad I stuck with it, it was 3000% worth it
- reality TV dating show
- secret / forbidden relationship
- queer discovery/coming out
- MM romance

The first third I didn't really know what was going on, I was a bit confused.
Once I got into it, it was cute and liked how the Ghost was only trying to help even if the FMC didn't see it that way to start with
I loved the ending and how all the ghosts and the FMC all worked together
I thoughts the artwork in this book was stunning and I really like that we got to see a lot of the surrounding area as well as just the launderette

I really liked this book, thought both narrator's were so good
I really liked that we got chapters of the book that the MMC was reading and taking inspo from
I love that they both wanted to do grand gestures at the end - so cute
The FMCs sister was so annoying tho
- second chance / marriage in crisis
- he reads romance books for inspo/help with his relationship

I really enjoyed this book!! It has me kicking my legs, giggling and screaming into a pillow cos of how cute it was
The friendship/teasing straight off the bat between the MCs and the way the clicked instantly dragged me in straightaway. I really like how open and honest they were with each other and the comforting touches from the MMC to show he was always there for the FMC were so soft I was 🥺🥺🥺 the whole time
The dirty talk in this was 👩🍳🤌
The epilogue was so cute
I have a love hate relationship with 3rd person pov (mainly on the side of hate) however I really enjoyed it here
This was such a good debut I’m really looking forward to reading more from Cassidy, I hope the best friends get a book - their relationship is parallel to this one but from what I saw I’m left wanting more
- age gap
- meant to be a summer fling/friends with benefits turned more
- 3rd person pov
- no 3rd act break up (cos you cant have a break up if they’re technically not together)

Found the main character very judgemental (the story is told as tho it's diary entries so could be part of the reason for it) and I just wasn't here for it

I loved every second of this book! Such a joy to read, did not want to put it down or finish it
Growing up I loved the Gallagher Girls series so reading this new book from Ally is so comforting and nostalgic to me (and makes me want to reread GG so bad)
I really enjoyed the story we went on with the FMC and, due to her amnesia, we were learning everything about her at the same time as she was. I liked how her memories came back to her and that it wasn't zero to one hundred
I loved how we really know who the MMC really was - is he a good guy? is he a bad guy? This book truly kept me guessing until the very end. I will say he knows how to say the perfect lines to get me kicking my feet and smiling like an idiot cos of how bad he has it for the FMC
I love the only one bed and fake dating/marriage trope and it was so good here
- duel pov / 3rd person
- closed door
- kinda insta-love (?) (based on the timeline of the book only being a week-ish but didn't feel rushed at all)
- only one bed / fake marriage
- spy
- amnesiac

I LOVED this book!! I've literally had it sat on my shelf for 8 months and wish I picked it up sooner (didn't learn my lesson from having the same feeling after reading TWNGO)
If you love the small town romance with a bit of a mystery sub plot in TWNGO you'll love this
I really enjoyed the narrator and thought they did such a good job.
This is a book in 3rd person which sometimes I don't vibe with but I really enjoyed it here and thought that it was easy to follow
The ending was perfect, I was so shocked (in the best way) over Maggie and Silas at the renovation finishing party in the house - I was screaming!!
This was such a joy and I was hooked instantly in the story and loved all the characters

- 3rd person
- mystery sub plot

I'm enjoying this series more and more with each book
I love that secrets within the friend group have been cleared up and that everyone is there for eachother and it's very supportive. In the first book I was always waiting for the drama to hit and the friend group implode but I don't feel like that anymore and that really added to my enjoyment levels. This isn't to say that there aren't secrets and drama and shenanigans happening but it's less internal to the friend group now
Bonus points for everyone being happy(ish) and this ending kinda being wrapped up with everything working out - does make me nervous for the next books and what potential drama is to come but loving the vibes right now and can't wait to read the next one
I'm 300% here for Cassie and Adam, my man had it so bad for her, I cannot wait for the next book where they finally hopefully end up together

I am eating these books up!! Like I never know what will happen next which is so fun, every chapter produces a new twist and turn
I enjoyed that the girls started leaning on eachother more in this book and started sharing secrets even if it was just one other person and not the whole group
Lowkey feel like I need to note down all the major plots for every character cos there are so many I feel like I'll forget about one of them - I can't wait to see where some of them go
Please look up CW before reading this series cos there is a lot - some are on page and detailed and others are mentioned/less detailed
- multi pov
