I loved this book!! It was so cute
I loved that Ash was obsessed with her (but not in a creepy way) from the start!!
I really enjoyed seeing Bridget find her friend group again and grow in confidence thoughout the book, the 3rd act confrontment was so good
There was a small part of me that thought that Ash might cause issues in the 3rd act and there be a breakup but happy to announce that no shit went down and there's no 3rd act break up
I'm taking off .25⭐ purely because I got a little annoyed at Bridget constantly saying she wants it to be 'casual' dating and keeping it private, it was justified but there's only so many times it can be brought up before it gets annoying
I love this friend group that we're gaining over the course of the series! Highly recommend this series if you want a pro hockey romance series to binge
- pro hockey
- found family
- he falls first
- nurse x patient
- no 3rd act break up
- duel pov, first person
Thank you to Valentine PR and Rebecca for the arc - all opinions are my own

I wanted to love this book but I found the main characters a bit annoying, especially Ellie who just jumped to conclusions about Margot's character and how she was a gold digger and just using her family. It just got very irritating
I really wanted to like this one as the premise sounded so good and the writing was good but some aspects of the characters weren't my cup of tea atm - I might come back to it in the future tho cos I really did want to love it
- LGBT
- Christmas
Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin for the arc

For the most part I enjoyed this book, however the middle part of the book I didn’t feel connected to and kinda felt like I was going into a slump. Not sure if it was the lack of communication about their real feelings or what but I just wasn’t feeling it for a minute
- hockey romance
- marriage of convenience / fake dating
- forced proximity

I really enjoyed this, loved that they never really had gotten over each other, especially him
The third act 'im just going to use sex to avoid talking about things' was kinda annoying and just wished they communicated
- second chance
- forced proximity
- hockey romance
- she looked after his sister whilst he's on the road

I loved every page of this book!! It was such a joy to read and get lost in their story
I loved the instant connection and chemistry and the seeing it grow and develop throughout the story
I feel like this could quickly become a book that I could reread over and over and never get bored of it
I loved all the characters and their humour was right up my street
Fully sobbing over the ending it was so cute
- disability & amputee
- 1st person, single pov
- accidental pregnancy
- one night stand
- roommates / forced proximity
- no 3rd act break up

I loved the first half of this book but the second half kinda let me down
I really enjoyed the connection between the main characters in the first half and how they communicated so well and didn't avoid the awkward or difficult conversations
However in the second half the communication just wasn't really there and I got a bit frustrated at the lack of it
- second chance
- forced proximity
- single mum

I loved the characters and the plot
The spice took a while to come but it was so good when it did
If you're looking for a quick light-hearted small town romance I highly recommend
