Every single page is perfection

I loved this book so much and wanted to savour every single page and not rush it

I don't think I can explain exactly what it is but I loved every single second and everyone should go pick it up right now

I loved the connection that Conner and Claire had straight away

Only thing that a negative is that I wanted more than just 78 pages

- one night stand turned more
- novella

This was a fun quick read, however I was left wanting more

I wanted to see a lot more of their relationship develop, we got a couple of big important conversations but then it quickly turned into smut and it just wasn't the vibe I was after as I really enjoyed the characters

*spoiler-ish* we learn in the book that they've both been pining over each other for years before they finally got together and I wish we saw some of that like give me a bit of angst please

This could technically be read as a standalone without reading A Merry Little Meet Cute first however I think it works a lot better knowing the background of majority of the characters

- spicy novella
- Queer romance (mm, pansexual x gay)
- second chance
- coworkers

This was so cute, I loved it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a holiday romance

I love books where irl they hate each other but are also talking to someone online who they really like, and it turns out to be the same person - I eat it up every single time

Even tho this was singular pov, I really enjoyed that you could still tell that the mmc was falling for the fmc and how much he liked her and how it grew throughout

I really liked the the mmc had picked up on little things that irritated the fmc and made changes to accommodate her neurodivergence

- coworkers
- hate to love
- opposites attract
- secret identity
- queer fmc (demisexual)
- neurodivergent fmc (autism)
- chronic condition (type 1 diabetic MMC)
- Christmas time
- single pov, first person

I loved this book!! The banter between the main characters was so good from the start making me instantly love them

I love that it was double fake dating and the whole web of lies it span - made it so interesting and kept me invested

I could tell early on what the third act conflict would be about and when we got to it it didn’t disappoint. The making up and getting back together was so good as well

I was screaming over how in love Noah was - it was so cute

Definitely reading more shifter romance / Lana books after this

- fake dating - ‘I told my grandma I was dating someone so she’d stop setting me up on bad dates’ and ‘I just lied to the board and said I was mated to keep my job’
- coworkers
- shifter romance - alpha x omega
- he falls first
- duel pov / 1st person

Thank you to NetGalley and Piatkus for the ARC - all opinions are my own

Books written by brits, narrated by brits >>>

This was so fun, I really liked how we saw the whole relationship between Kitty and Leo grow and the eventual ever after was so worth it

I really enjoyed the growth that we saw in Kitty and that we got to see how her life was a couple of years later

I loved Leo's grand gesture at the end

- 1st person, single pov
- summer rebound fling turned more
- friends to lovers

Fully went into this not knowing what to expect but it was a joy to read

I’ve seen a couple of Lola’s books about and seen some good reviews for them so when I saw it was on NetGalley I knew I had to pick it up

If you’re looking for a quick, kind of festive, surprisingly cute, dinosaur romance I do recommend

- dinosaur smut??(spice is literally only in one chapter )
- novella
- ‘it’s always been you’ vibes

Thank you to BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for the arc- all opinions are my own

I really enjoyed this, i haven't read that much romantic suspense but this was so enjoyable and kept me guessing who it could be for a while and it was a curveball I didn't see coming but it was so good

I love how natural and easy Josiah and Audrey's relationship was and that there wasn't any big drama or angst with it

I really enjoyed going back to Tilkium and seeing it years later through a different set of eyes

Looking forward to moved of the Haven brothers and reading more if Claire's work

- romantic suspense
- small town
- low spice
- opposites attract

I ate this book up it was so good. At this points if Ali writes it I will read it.

Did I have zero desire to play chess before? Yes. Do I kinda want to download an app on my phone now and play? Yes.

I loved the teenage angst, I loved that even tho it's single pov from the fmc you could tell how in love with her the mmc was, I loved the sibling relationships and the humour it brought, and I really loved the style of the epilogue that it was a couple of years later and was a journalist piece of the next world champs

My only issue is mainly with the narration, and that all the European accents (minus British) all sounded the exact same Eastern European when they were meant to be German, Italian

- sports romance (chess)
- YA (felt like a closed door new adult)
- Queer FMC

This was good, nothing special tho

It's kinda insta-love-y fast paced which is what I expected I just wanted a bit more from all of the gifts etc that he gave her to combat the lost of reasons why she hates Christmas

- small town
- Christmas novella
- insta-love
- cowboy romance

This was a book of two halfs for me, I struggled to connect with the first half but really enjoyed the second half

The first 40ish% where they're both in their dislike stage, I just didn't connect with it and struggled to get through (ended up pausing and reading another book, so glad I came back)

The second half where they were getting along and got together was so enjoyable. I love how open and truthful they are with each other and clearly communicate everything - it was refreshing to see and read

- dislike to love
- childhood family friends / neighbours
- opposites attract
- queer fmc (demisexual)
- neurodivergent fmc (ADHD)
- chronic condition (migraines)
- no 3rd act break up
- duel pov, 1st person
