This is very much a slow burn (which isn't my fave) but it was so worth it
I love that Gavin and Oliver are very much opposites (very clearly grumpy x sunshine) but they balance each other out so well
- only one bed
- co-captains (forced to work together)
- grumpy x sunshine
- neighbours
- Queer romance (MM gay x bi)
- age gap
- childhood idol
- dislike to love
- slow burn (they kept getting interrupted whilst trying to hook up/make out)
I really enjoyed the plot of this book and thought that were were so many great moments in it

I thought this was a good quick listen and liked the storyline
I wasn't the biggest fan of the narrators, doing the main characters voices and normal text was fine but some of the side character voices I wasn't a huge fan of and found they could be annoying at times
- brothers best friend
- sports romance (college hockey)
- queer romance (gay and bi main characters)
- college romance (TA X student)
- sports is everything to them and don't date seriously until they meet the other person

I liked what I listened to but I just didn't find myself reaching for it or wanting to continue it once my library loan was returned
I really enjoyed this book!
- long time crushes
- forced proximity
- marriage of convenience
- autism rep
- long term illness - IBS
I liked that both of them had had long time crushes on the other, it helped build the tension of who was finally going to break first and kiss the other
I think both the MCs just clicked and worked well together which made for an enjoyable read
My only criticism is that I felt like the conflict came too late and then didn't have a tonne of time with them back together post conflict

This was a good read but I just couldn't get stuck into it and didn't really feel invested in the story
I did enjoy the meet cute and thought that it was really fun
I enjoyed the narrator and thought they did a good job
- 3rd person / dual pov
- neighbours
- annoyance / dislike to love

I really enjoyed this, I liked the narrators and loved that it was duet audio
I really enjoyed this, I haven't read many marriage in crisis books and loved that they had history and even tho they had their struggles that they put the work in to make their marriage work
I love that all the brothers were trying to help out with getting them back on the same page and communicating again, it lead to some very cute moments
I wish that we had more time post final conflict, I felt like it all wrapped up a little too quick, however I'm hoping to see more of them and get a bit of continuation of their story in next books
- marriage in crisis
- anxiety rep
- fake pretending that everything is fine on a family holiday

This was a great quick read!
I love that the fake dating never really felt fake and you could tell how much they liked each other from the start
The POVs switch multiple times a chapter so you get to see the same scene from both POVs which is really fun and made it a really enjoyable read
- fake dating
- professor x firefighter
- 3rd person/ dual pov
Thank you to NetGalley and Afterglow books for the arc - all opinions are my own

I knew from the tropes of this book that it would be a great read - second chance and forced proximity, add in that it's a duel timeline AND written by the queen that is Emily Henry, it was always going to be a good book
However, after the first time reading it I felt like something was missing and I couldn't put my finger on what exactly it was
I reread at the start of the year (my little tradition of the first read of each year being an EmHen book - this is my 3rd year doing it), and I discovered what that little peace was - the reference to other books/characters in the EmHen universe which were little Easter eggs that I loved
- second chance romance
- forced proximity - there's only one bed
- duel timeline
- will rip your heart out and make you ugly cry
- we don't deserve Wyn Connor

This book was so fun and I had a great time reading it. I never really knew where the plot was going, which just added to the fun but the plot twists at the end were the icing on the cake - I couldn't put it down it was so good
I really enjoyed the slightly chaotic adventure that we go on with Delphie, and although it looks like things are going wrong and luck isn't on her side, it brings so many people into her life and makes her start really loving and enjoying it again
I loved the whole cast of characters, they were all so fun and different and brought such realness and a great time to the story
I love the references to different popular romance authors and tropes throughout the book - it was like a fun little bingo game
This was the first book I've read by this author and I'll definitely be checking out more of them
- magical elements
- second chance at life
- only one bed
