I put this off for so long and I don't know why. I guess in my mind I loved throne of glass so much that I didn't want anything to outdo it? Silly I know.

Buy wow. I was not prepared for how much I love this book. Not as much as ToG but the way Sarah j. Mass builds her world's and characters is stunning. There was nothing about this book I didn't like, and it flowed so easily. I cannot wait to read the next two. Such a beautiful and deadly world filled with characters that are as beautiful and vengeful ad gods, and honestly, I'm still not sure I trust a single one of them.

There's always a game being played...

Something any fan of fantasy novels will surely devour.

Well. That was one hell of a ride. Sarah J Maas never fails to disappoint in driving her stories futher, twisting characters about and delving deeper into who they are, turning lovers into enemies and enemies into family.

Really didn't expect to enjoy this as much but it blew the first book out of the water. It was a struggle to put down.

And now for book 3. Time for war

4.5 stars. A hilarious read that made a nice change from me binging fantasy books. I'll admit I did think Norris was a bit too judgy but his wit and sarcasm made up for it. I could relate to him in a way in that I myself find my mouth moving before I can think. I also found myself liking Maddie alot more than I thought.
A highly enjoyable read!

An fast, enjoyable read, I liked the style it was written, in the way that it was as if Ellie was sitting down to keep an account of everything that happened. It flowed really nicely, and it didn't get boring in places. (Even the bits that were void of action, 5he group were still planning and trying to build their base to survive which was really interesting.) It wasn't too exciting for me only because i had seen the movie first (which I loved) and I knew what was going to happen. But I can't wait to read the rest if the series as all that will be brand new to me.

While I enjoyed the story, and it was an interesting insight into what happened in Salem and with the girls who were Afflicted, I gave this 3 stars because I wasn't a fan of the writing style (verse) and I was expecting it to be more in Novel format. But it was still enjoyable, and a fast paced read, although sometimes it was hard to follow the girls thoughts and it didn't really make sense how they started it all with little communication with each other.

Overall an enjoyable read, but I felt it could have been so much more if it wasn't written in verse, but I still feel the author did a good job of delving into Salem, 1692 and into the lives of the Salem Girls while still managing to paint a picture of life back then with her take on the Salem hysteria.

One of my faveorite witch series ever. Been too long. Really enjoyed rereading this

Rereading this again, so much love for the series. My only issue with this is that the original series was set in the early 90s. 92 I Think, and now suddenly Adam has a phone he can Google addresses on... but still love love love my Circle. My Favourite witch series ever!
