A thrilling end to an absolute whirlwind of a series.

I'll admit, for the first hundred pages I struggled with this, but stuck with it because the plot sounded really interesting (black magic and secret societies? Count me in!) And also because of my love for Leigh Bardugos Grishaverse novels, and I'm glad I did! This book is by far my favourite read of 2019. It was beautifully written, the mythology and magic systems were unique and left me craving more and I fell in love with the characters because the weren't perfect, or falling in love but because Alex and Darlington were both flawed people just trying to find a place in the world.
What left me loving this book even more was that I went into it thinking it was a standalone but finding out it was the first in a series! Cannot wait for the next one, a five star read that left an insatiable craving that won't be satisfied until the next in the series. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed this version of the Archie comics. Not hard to believe the blossoms as Satan worshippers or Cheryl and Jason in competition to become the anti Christ. Always loved these comics and this one was a delight.

Absolutely adored this book and I've read it twice in one sitting. The artwork was beautiful and the story was heartwarming and sweet. I wanted to dove into the pages and explore the pumpkin patch. Will I read this again? OBVIOUSLY. Alot probably.

Way to leave us hanging with that ending... But I loved every second of this. I've been dying for a sequel since Carry On and the fact that we are getting a third book, A THIRD is amazing. Hilarious, heartwarming, frustrating (was hoping for more Simon and Baz smut

This was without a doubt, an absolute amazing read! The story was incredible, the characters well fleshed out, witty, flawed and smart. The world was beautiful, a French inspired fantasy world where witches and the church are at war. The magic system left me addicted and wanting to know more and the story flowed along so effortlessly, with danger around every turn, It was easy to feel the anxiety and desperation of some characters as even the tiniest wrong move could end up with them on the stake. It took me a while to read, as I was forcing myself to savour it and I was already dying for the sequel halfway through this one!

An absolute must read. It has something for everyone. Love, friendship, witches, religion, thieves, prostitutes, hilarity, AMAZING pub songs and villains and danger around every corner.

Honestly, one of the best YA mysteries I've read in a long time. Kept me thinking, trying to work out what happened before all was revealed and I just couldn't. Holly Jackson threw curveball after curveball until I didn't know what to believe anymore. The characters all felt real, their issues and problems were all problems that anyone of us could face on a daily bases. Such a fantastic novel that kept me hooked from page one. I can't wait for the sequel and to see what Holly Jackson writes in the future, because you can be sure that I will be reading EVERYTHING
