By rhe Angel!!!! My love for this series is limitless and this book was a perfect ending to this arc. Can't wait for the Last Hours trilogy and obviously there must be another set of books set after QOAAD because that ending. Wow.

Also, Cassandra... WHY DIDN'T KIT AND TY GET A HAPPY ENDING?!?! Well I mean they did but not together. Would be cool if the next set of books followed the younger blackthorns (ty, tavvy and dru. And obviously Kit would fit in there somewhere and more Tessa and Jem please please please.)

I adore everything Magnus and Alec and this was a brilliant new tale, full of magic, adventure and the extravagant, hysterical, extra ways of Magnus bane. It was nice to see more of how their relationship solidified at the beginning, as in the Mortal Instrument series you didn't actually get to know what happened on "their European vacation". I can't wait to see where this series heads. The only upsetting thing with this book was their wasn't a whole lot of Chairman Meow, a vastly underrated character in my opinion. But once again, Cassie has done it again with another beautiful incredible instalment in the Shadowhunter Chronicles.

Absolutely perfect. I'm in love with The Grishaverse in every single way, and I'm so glad the story continues with some of my faveorites. There is no doubt that Leigh Bardugo is a stunning writer and an absolute genius. I could fall into this world and her books again and again.
Long live the king !

Thought provoking and downright hilarious.
I've always imagined id hate to go to a Catholic school, considering I'm Pagan, and yes I may not agree with the Church alot but this was a mind opening book, and a Catholic school might not be so bad. Theres something quiet beautiful about it really. I really enjoyed the diversity in all the characters, the humour, the way everyone was just trying to find their place and how they fitted into their religions, how not all Nuns are strict and scary and how it should be okay to question your church and beliefs without fear of reprisle. This book for me was incredibly interesting and made me laugh alot. You don't need to be or agree with Catholisism to enjoy this book!

This book was so enchanting. I love novels set in small coastal towns (guess it reminds me of home) and the story it's self was incredible, a great spin on old siren folklore, muddled up with witchcraft. I especially enjoyed the twist, although to be honest I did suspect that it was coming. It was a fast read, and it was filled with mystery, suspicion, superstition, guilt, love and revenge. Loved every minute of it. A really fantastic novel and it would make a great movie! (I heard that was what was happening)

It was good - I did expect a whole lot of more death, a bit like cludeo but I liked the way it was set up the how "dollface's" idea and follow through on their revenge plan was pretty well thought out. Subtle things to torment into confession. I will say though it was pretty obvious who was behind it, even with the twist. But it was well written and the characters were complex and I enjoyed trying to figure out the pieces of the story and the puzzle as to what happened. It did get slightly confusing as there was a lot of half truths and information to take in but in the end it did all make sense. Overall a great easy read and a compelling story.

Not what I expected.

In a good way. Now I don't know why but I wasn't too keen on this books -probs my because I couldn't get into pretty little liars (the tv show). But this book... Wow. I admit at the start it took me a few chapters to get into, mainly because there was too many names mentioned so fast, it was difficult to keep up. But then all that changed and I was hooked. This book kept me guessing in a way that EVERYONE was a suspect. Normally I'm good at figuring stuff out like who the killer is and why etc ect, but the characters were so well written (in my opinion) that as you were reading their narrative , you weren't 100% positive they were telling the truth. Everyone, the main characters and the people in their lives seem to know something or have a secret or motive and it's all so complicated and brilliant! Yeah a little bit high school drama that is kind of extra (I never understood Americans need to get into an Ivy League school but whatever) but who doesn't love a little bit of drama. I only read this because I needed a mystery for my reading challenge and this just happened to be there, but I WILL be picking up the sequel because this book blew me away.

If you are looking for a complicated high school murder blackmail mystery or even just want to challenge yourself to see if you can put the pieces together before all is reveled, then this is the book for you.

Also, a lesson to myself to never judge a book until you give it a try.
