Brilliant. They way king tells this story is just pure magic, mixing childhood and real life fears into fiction. I struggled to put this down a lot. I loved ever single part of this experience. I recommend it to everyone. Thrilling, captivating and terrifying!!

I loved this book. Every single bit of it. Heart warming, heart breaking, laugh your ass off, cry your eyes out brilliant. Must read for anyone - especially LGBT youth and people dealing with the loss of a loved one. 14\10 will defiantly read again!

Witches. Witch hunters. Love and adventure. Whats not to love?
It took me a bit of getting into but after I did I really enjoyed it ( the delay was my own personal biased of the word "wizard". I fell in love with the characters and loved the relationships Elizabeth formed with her would be enemy's. I loved the blend of fantasy and realism of the witch hunts in England during that period. Will be reading the second instalment ASAP!!!

as with most anologys, there are going to be some you love and some you hate. while i didn't hate any per say, I think this book has more to do with personal taste. from the title I thought it was going to be horror based more on slasher films and what not. But instead did have a nice mix of ghosts, zombies, and a few about revenge. each story was beautifully written in its own right, for me some just dragged on. on the whole though I really did enjoy this novel especially the stories "sleepless," "hide and seek," "the dark scary parts and all" and "the flicker the fingers the beat and the sigh". overall a great read for any fan of horror 👌
