rickjones's Reviews (1.66k)
Reviewing this several months after I first read it, so I don't remember details. While I didn't find this story very thrilling, I appreciated the winding tone and unique world enough to stay engaged in the book. Unfortunately I felt as if it was half-finished, and that it needed to be longer to explore the themes of the novel and answer the questions it presented to us.

Reviewing this several months after I first read it, so I don't remember details. I really enjoyed the darkness of these stories and the creativity of the prose and how the characters and themes related to one another. Though some of them made me a little squeamish, I appreciated what Hunt had to say through each scenario she'd invented. I've never read another author like Hunt, and am interested in exploring more of her work.

Too brainfoggy to finish this before my library hold is up, but I will try a second time.
