This is a sweet adventure comic for readers of all ages. The art is welcoming, the characters are endearing, and the world presented is detailed but not overly complicated. 

I have many of the same questions Cucumber probably does about his quest that I'm hoping will be answered in other volumes, and I'm excited to follow the rest of the journey to save Dreamside!

This was a very rewarding read. The friendship between Lou and Bea felt raw and real and the unconditional support they provided for each other was healing to witness. I adore found family stories and and recommend this book to anyone who feels the same way.
