This is a sweet and touching comic about a ghost in love with his best friend, a gardener and accidental necromancer. The story is unique and paired with bright illustrations that welcomes you into the characters' world. However I wish the pacing was a little different, pieces of the plot were confusing and felt abrupt and anticlimactic. All things considered I did enjoy reading this, the relationship between the characters contained a genuine tenderness that is always rewarding to see.

Memorable, creepy and not at all what I was expecting. At its core this is a story about generational trauma that many women can probably relate to, with different experiences that follow along the same lines. I enjoyed that the writing was confusing to build suspense, but allowed that confusion to dissipate once catharsis was called for, something not all authors are capable of.

Another Moonstruck addition filled with adorable art and endearing characters, and this time even more mysteriousness. I feel this volume was building towards something bigger while establishing more about the characters already introduced to us and the way they view the world and face emotionally exhausting challenges. I would like to understand more about Julie and Selena and what their identities as werewolves mean to them, and am definitely excited to read more!

This story is exhilarating, and has already built up a satisfactory amount of lore within the first five issues. The Ritter family displays such a raw commitment for each other that they had me nearly in tears at multiple points, and I'm going to be devastated if any one of them doesn't survive what's to come. I am definitely excited to read further.
