I really enjoyed reading this comic, it had an innocent and upbeat sense of humor and playfulness that was undeniably refreshing.
The protagonists each shared a sense of genuine optimism, as well as passionate enthusiasm for their interests and friends that made them quickly endearing. Multiple jokes actually made me laugh out loud, and I would be unsurprised if it was legitimately impossible to be in a bad mood while reading each issue.

In my opinion this was a very entertaining comic to read, in which hilarity was balanced well alongside messages with social significance. It doesn't really fit into Earth-616 canon, however people who care about Thor and Bruce / Hulk will probably enjoy it regardless.
Unsurprisingly, I can't stand the plot for this and as Bruce said, Doc Green is truly insufferable. I hate him, but I'm enjoying hating him and his actions so hopefully that was the reaction the writer was going for.
Who shot Bruce in the first volume and why was revealed in about a setence, so if you're reading this for an interesting mystery aspect don't bother. You'll get the same level of fulfillment by going to the Hulk Wiki and scrolling until finally getting to the section that explains who's responsible.
I'm glad to see members of the Hulk family again, I just wish it was under less awful circumstances.

I have mixed feelings about this comic since some of the plots seemed like an unneeded attempt to create an 'edgier' version of the Hulk's origin story, which unfortunately resulted in something that felt very odd and distanced from the original source material.
However the parts of this that I did care for I really enjoyed, such as Bruce's fight for dominance with Hulk inside his mind that was extremely powerful and meaningful on its own, but also for people who themselves struggle with the toxic feelings and behaviors Hulk has come to represent which are often developed from experiencing continuous mistreatment or abuse.
The general story I wasn't really into due to its weird and gritty nature, and I wish much of this had more solid writing since it isn't on Marvel Unlimited and I had to purchase it separately, but I still don't regret buying or reading it since pieces were excellent and complimented well by the art.

Ironically, I discovered this series because it was mentioned in a video I was listening to in order to fall asleep, but the writing was so incredible that I read the entire volume non-stop while writing down notes even though I'm exhausted and have serious trouble paying attention to almost anything.
While this comic drastically changes original canon, and there are pieces of it that have been changed by further backstory since it was written, I really enjoyed this different and more emotional view of who Hulk was and how his relationships between both those he cared about and hated played out.
The revelations Bruce has while speaking felt organic and written with thought, and unfortunately while the last conclusion he comes to is not a pleasant one, it was built up to and flowed smoothly with the rest of the plot instead of being dropped like a second gamma bomb.
I tend to care about media I'm interested in for the characters much more than the events surrounding them, so reading something that focused on psychology rather than action was refreshing. The narrative between Bruce and Leonard that layered over the rest of the story was executed effectively, when it could have easily come off as shallow.
While there's really nothing in this series that is joyful, it was created so well that it's still enjoyable and I will probably read it again even though I now have an entire eleven pages of details I've written down about it to refer to.
