Cute, easy, light romance.  No surprise.  Fun side characters and very real to life main characters with real life, easy to understand problems.  This book won't make you think too hard.

Magic and rebellion with a wonderful evil queen. I would have liked a bit more spice but it's YA. Everything wrapped up perfectly and there was one twist I didn't see coming.

I did not enjoy this book for various reasons.  First, it is NOT a romance.  It reads more like journal entries, and I don't mean that as a positive.  The alcohol consumption and descriptions of what the characters are drinking is shocking.  I have been a college girl, I have drank my far share of drinks in solo red cups. This work glorified overconsumption of alcohol and the need for alcohol to have a good time.  I could have cared less about Ethan and Sloane.  Be together, don't, I don't care.

The beginning and the end of this book were amazing, the middle lagged.  I actually put it down for a solid 2 weeks before having enough interest to get through the island hopping.  The end redeemed itself, and now I am left with even more questions!!!

I really enjoy Ms. Hazelwood's books. The chemistry between Rue and Eli was fantastic and I could read about the side characters all day. Please let there be a book about Hawk next 

You find your soulmate at 18 and then you try to survive without them.  So so good and heartbreaking.  Reading about trouble youth-of any level-is really difficult for me.  But, Shane and Eva survived into complex and successful adults.  The romance made the heartbreak readable.

Loved the characters, loved the setting, loved the evil Dad.  Just such a good vacation read, perfect for February when everything is dark and grey.  What a good spin on 'My Fair Lady'

Female friendships are the core of this sailing novel. I learned so much about boats!! Was cheering for Nancy and her friends the whole time. Geez, they sure did drink a ton!!

Really enjoyed the politics background in this one.  Strong characters, steamy love scenes, quick, and juicy read.  The side characters were interesting too, just a lot of them.  The emotional damage the main characters have was a bit hard to read, but gave them added depth. I had a hard time remembering who they were at points during the story.  Didn't so much love the Julien bad guy plot, but I get it, it had to be done.

I am sucked into this series and will be downloading the next one immediately.  But, I had to keep reminding myself that Loren was 18.  She was annoying, and shy, and embarrassed at every freaking turn.  If she ducked her head one more time when Darien said something to her, I was going to smack her head.  The lack of maturity, while necessary to the story line, was annoying as all get out.
