Amazing.  I cannot believe I didn't read this sooner.  I am in absolute love with the characters, story and just begging Ms. Maas for more.

This book really wasn't for me.  I couldn't really relate to any of the characters, but I did enjoy the love story.  I also could understand see how Grace could have gotten so overworked and lost, but otherwise, blah.

A wonderful romp through 1984 NYC.  I loved learning about Lillian, her history, her accomplishments and her love of the city is magnificent.  It so makes me yearn for a walk around NYC.  The history of the city makes this book so enjoyable.  Lillian herself is amazing, but the city in which she calls home is just as an important character.

A wonderful retelling of Pride and Prejudice that kind of makes fun of the fact that it is a retelling.  The main character Alys, has studied P and P and constantly is wondering what Austen would think of her situation.  Never stepping back to see that she in fact is Elizabeth Bennett.  What made this so enjoyable for me was the insight into Pakistan and the culture.

I liked this book more than I thought I would based on the reviews, but it got really weird in the middle.  It seemed as if the main character, Marnie, was all of the sudden living in a dream instead of the reality that we had been reading about for over 100 pages.  It got very, very far-fetched.  The characters aren't at all likeable, but they are interesting to read about.

Such a wonderful read.  I thoroughly enjoyed the time period, characters and romance.  I got a bit sick of all the whining August seemed to be doing about 'wanting to work', but she was ahead of her time.  I am not sure how accurate her character was for the time period, but I do know woman who lived in NYC acted much different than they did in England-those of a certain social class that is.  I loved that Evan broke with tradition as well and boxed.  Very much excited for the next in the series.

I really enjoyed this book, the light read I needed.  I loved the insight into astrology.  I really knew nothing about the stars and the zodiac.  I loved the other minimal characters that were throughout the story.  What I did want was more of Justine and Nick.  I didn't think Justine really even liked Nick until 75% through.  It could have been a stronger romance.

I  liked this book, I really did.  The characters were great and complex.  But it was also really slow and something kept me from wanting to pick it up and read it.  Not sure what?  Maybe the reality show aspect and how the sisters were super cut-throat.  Hmmm.  Still a good family drama read.

Very emotional, very slow but thought provoking read about a mother and daughter and how much that relationship matters.  Margot comes home after 8 long years and finds her mother, Mina, dead in her living room.  Margot tries to piece together her mother's fate and her past.  Full of very developed characters with such  sad, emotional pasts.  I feel rung out after reading this one.
