At times a bit wordy, but wow this book was good.

I feel like these characters are my friends! I just love this series. I did find fault with a few plot lines, but overall these books just make me so happy.

Ok, I really, really liked this book. Full of history that I didn't know, and it felt well researched for a romance novel. Loved that it had facts at the back of the book which proved it was well researched. I loved the connection between the main characters. The side characters added breadth to the story and were interesting in their own right. Can't wait to read more of this series.

Ok, I really am starting to enjoy this series. I can finally grasp all the characters. I can see a bit into their personality AND I am starting to see how Charlotte solves the case. This one wasn't as interesting as the others, but a fast read and a great addition to the series. Makes you want to read more!

I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I liked the characters, the bit of mystery and the talking/learning about scents and how they effect people didn't scare me off as I thought it might. In the end this book just made me feel warm and fuzzy. Just like the perfect Fall day.

Not quite the spy novel I thought this would be. Much more of a history lesson with a bit of smart character development. Slow on the thriller aspect. It definitely got across the horrors of war.

I never get enough of Inspector Gamache. These books are fantastic. The characters and the mystery are top notch. Off to the next in the series...
