The sewing projects take up a lot of space but are well explained. I got the book for the sashiko diagrams and resources, it gave a digital printable file of templates which was a really nice surprise. Good simple reference.

Really good reference with the names of the patterns included so you can look them up elsewhere. Wish the designs were presented in crisper quality, they're not high enough quality to be copied and used as a template but since the book tells you the Japanese name for each design they're easy to find templates elsewhere while this book gives decent beginner explanations.
