Going into Nobody in Particular, I was excited. This book lived up to the expectations! It was so sweet, so good, and so drama filled.
In a royalty centred book, drama is always going to be one of the main plot points, and man oh man it was in this one! I loved the aspect that it was about a high school aged princess in a boarding school/college and a regular citizen joining in on scholarship.
This was my second Sophie Gonzales book that I finished, and it was delightful. I definitely want to read more from her! Highly recommend this.

This was so fun. I love the art style so much, and the colour palette is unmatched!! It feels like you’re in the ocean with the characters as you read, and it’s amazing.
I read volume 1 last year, so I kind of forgot how it ended, but it quickly made sense when I started this volume. I loved how the story continued, and the plot twists! Wow.

H.E. Edgmon is one of my favourite authors, and We Can Never Leave is a fantastic YA fantasy that feels more like a surrealism story. Either way, it was enjoyable. Definitely not my favourite H.E. Edgmon (in fact it’s my lowest rated read) but 4 stars to me means I enjoyed it, with some things I didn’t like.
I found that the characters were great, and they were well developed. The banter between them was fun, but sometimes it could be unnecessarily cruel.
Overall, I enjoyed this even if I didn’t have a clue what was going on for a while. You just have to trust the reading journey!
