I am shook. This was a goddamn rollercoaster of emotions and I want to bill A.K. Mulford for the emotional turmoil they put me through (LOL jkjk).

This was an amazing book 2. I loved it. I sent reactions to a friend who just read it, and let's just say I was unhinged...

A Sky of Emerald Stars is one of the best second books in a series I've ever read, and I'm so desperate for book 3. I'm gnawing at the bars of my enclosure to get book 3. 

My god that was horrible.

I enjoy second chance romances, I really do. This one? When you add in miscommunication that is SO easy to fix? JUST FUCKING TALK TO ONE ANOTHER.

Your ex fiancée left you at the altar, and you saw signs before the wedding that she wasn’t ready for this change? Or the fact that her fiancée was trying to tell her why she wasn’t ready but didn’t SAY THE FUCKING WORDS? ONCE AGAIN, JUST GOD DAMN FUCKING TALK TO EACH OTHER. YOU ARE LOVERS, BEST FRIENDS, KNOWN EACH OTHER SINCE YOU WERE 12. JUST SIT THE FUCK DOWN AND TALK. ITS THAT EASY. OH MY GOD.

And the

third act breakup? Once again, SO EASY TO FIX BY JUST FUCKING TALKING.

I think the audiobook of this one didn’t work for me, so next year I might reread it and just physically read it instead :( really wanted to like this one and I think it was the audiobook that didn’t work for me
