Another new genre that I haven’t read much from: YA. I wanted to read this book before I saw the movie and I’m glad I did. This book was a fast read and easy to follow along. It was heart breaking and left you wanting to know more. I am also glad that this book talked about a critical illness you don’t hear much about
Wow- this book is beautifully written and left me with so many emotions!
I listened to this book on audiobook and really liked it. The narrator was great and I found myself sitting in the driveways till the chapter ended. This is a great book on accepting family for what it is and healing throughout life’s twists and turns.
I listened to this book on audiobook and really liked it. It was very easy to follow and told the story in two different perspectives, Edith’s (1950’s-1960ish) and Clare’s (present day). This book had an “ah-ha” moment (spoiler if I tell you when it is
Everything here is beautiful: Many of us in book club agreed that this book was slow at times but we learned a lot about mental illness throughout this book. I personally, liked this book. It opened my eyes to what people go through with schizophrenia. There was so much character growth throughout the book that I am really happy about. I also loved that the two main characters are sisters and how they are so different. This was a good book club book since there was so much to talk about.
I really liked this book, it was a quick read for me (only 3 days)!! And it was so interesting and I didn’t see the end coming! I didn’t love any of the characters but it was still a good book. There were times where I just wanted to scream at the characters for what they were doing
I read this book for our February book club! We’re going through @reesesbookclub picks
