I avoided this for ages because it was so popular and since it was a YA contemporary romance, I figured it would be pretty cheesy.
Maybe I should stop avoiding popular books.
This was such a beautiful read. It was heart-achingly beautiful and really made me think—about life, love, and the nature of death and dying, and I think the mark of a truly amazing story is one that has the power to make you question what you think you know. This book did that, and it did it beautifully.

This was cute! The storyline was sweet and enjoyable, and I loved both Dee and the Count. The art was a little lacking, though. It kind of looked like a sketchbook, which was a cool effect but kind of hard to follow at times, as all the lines tended to run together. I think adding color might have helped, or thinner strokes. Overall, it was a cute, snappy read.

Huh. I have no idea what I think of this. Really weird and interesting, that’s for sure!
