The Fault in Our Stars
by John Green
I avoided this for ages because it was so popular and since it was a YA contemporary romance, I figured it would be pretty cheesy.
Maybe I should stop avoiding popular books.
This was such a beautiful read. It was heart-achingly beautiful and really made me think—about life, love, and the nature of death and dying, and I think the mark of a truly amazing story is one that has the power to make you question what you think you know. This book did that, and it did it beautifully.
