This is not my genera. I was kind of straying, thinking, hey, my sis likes this and it's a classic so I think I'll give it a try.
I am so glad I did.
This was a pleasant read. Not thrilling or intense. It was more of a book that I would like to snuggle up with in a nice, cozy chair, with a cup of fresh coffee. Mmmmmmmmhmmmmm. Anne. Anne is adorable and hysterical. She made me laugh countless times. This story is made, this story is a classic, this story is 'one of the greats' because of Anne. Her imagination, her silliness. Her mistakes. She's so cute and funny and relatable. She's not perfect, and that makes us love her even more. There are so many little quirks about her that make her unique, and at the same time so much more real. I feel as if I could reach out and shake her hand. She seems as real to me as any other person I know.
Overall, this book was splendid. Appropriate and pleasing (at least in my opinion) for all ages.

This is my first complete read of a Shakespeare play and it was absolutely hilarious! The premise was brilliant, and so strong it made the plot stand firm and created a tight, nonstop story. Highly recommended!
